A new update has arrived in Grow a Chicken Fighter, adding a bunch of new features and rewards to the game. The update focuses heavily on the Arena, with a new shop, Honor Feathers, rankings, and other systems to give you more things to work toward.
There are also new chickens, player titles, Battle Charm features, autocrafting, Index Milestone rewards, pre-admin abuse rewards, and a new Trophy Egg. Some quality-of-life changes have also been added, making this a pretty packed update.
I went through the new content to see what has actually been added and how some of the new systems work. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Grow a Chicken Fighter update.
New Arena Shop
One of the biggest additions in this update is the Arena Shop.
You can find the new shop in the Arena area, where you can spend the medals you earn from playing Arena. There are several different items available, so you’ll have more reasons to keep competing.
Some of the rewards available in the shop include:
- Ascension X
- Trophy X
- Colossus X
- Corn
- Hatchlock
- Other rewards and items
The medals can be earned through Arena gameplay, so if you’re planning to buy the better rewards, you’ll need to spend some time playing matches.
Arena Honors
The update also introduces a new Arena Honors system.
This is another progression system connected to the Arena, and you can build up your Honor by competing and winning.
One of the main rewards connected to this system is Honor Feathers.
How To Get Honor Feathers
Getting Honor Feathers is pretty simple: you can earn them by winning Arena matches.
So if you’re already playing Arena regularly, make sure you’re keeping track of your Honor and the rewards you can unlock from it.
Index Milestone Rewards
There are also new Index Milestone Rewards.
These rewards are tied to your progress through the game’s Index. You can find the Index Milestones section in the game and check what rewards are available as you reach different milestones.
If you’re already working on completing your Index, these additional rewards give you another reason to keep collecting chickens and filling it out.
New Player Titles
The update adds Player Titles as well.
These give you another way to customize your profile and show off your achievements in the game. As you progress through the new systems, you’ll have more opportunities to unlock and use different titles.
Battle Charms and Autocrafting
Another interesting addition is Battle Charm autocrafting.
The update allows you to automatically craft Battle Charms, which should make the process less tedious if you’re regularly creating them.
There are also new Battle Charm-related rewards and Charm Dust to collect. I haven’t completely figured out every part of the new crafting system yet, so if you’ve discovered how to make the most of Battle Charm autocrafting, feel free to share your tips.
New Charm Features
The update also adds a Charm Lock feature, along with a Double Charm Dust game pass.
The Charm Lock should help you protect the charms you want to keep while you’re working with your collection, while the Double Charm Dust pass gives players a way to increase the amount of Charm Dust they receive.
New Chickens
There are seven new chickens to collect in this update.
The update also introduces a new Trophy Egg, giving you another egg to work toward if you’re trying to expand your collection.
As usual, better luck and boosts can make a big difference when you’re trying to hatch the rarer chickens. I was testing some of the new content myself and was hoping to get an Ace, but my luck wasn’t exactly amazing.
Pre-Admin Abuse Rewards
The update also brings pre-admin abuse rewards.
These rewards are connected to the game’s special admin events and give players additional things to collect or work toward.
There are also new rewards and items associated with these events, so it’s worth checking the game around admin abuse periods to see what’s available.
Quality-of-Life Changes
Alongside the major features, the developers have added a number of quality-of-life changes.
These aren’t necessarily the biggest additions in the update, but they can make regular gameplay smoother and easier.
There are also changes to the shop rewards, rankings, and other parts of the game.
New Codes?
The update title mentions codes, but the content shown in the video doesn’t actually reveal any specific new codes.
So I wouldn’t want to give you a random code and claim it’s part of this update. If new codes are released separately, they should be checked before being added to a codes list.
Overall, the new Grow a Chicken Fighter update adds quite a lot of new systems, especially for players who enjoy the Arena.
The Arena Shop, Arena Honors, Honor Feathers, Index Milestone Rewards, Player Titles, Battle Charm autocrafting, seven new chickens, Trophy Egg, and Charm features give you plenty of new things to check out.
Personally, after going through everything, I think the update is decent but could have used a few more major additions. The Arena systems are interesting, though, and hopefully future updates build on them with even more content.
