If you’re trying to unlock the Justicar origin but don’t want to deal with the Etris raid, there’s actually a much easier way to do it. And yeah, the game doesn’t really tell you this, so a lot of people just miss it completely.
I’m just going to explain exactly how it works so you can get it done quickly.
How To Unlock Justicar Without Etris Raid in Deepwoken
First thing, you can’t do this solo. You need another player to help you out.
That’s the only real requirement, but it’s important because the whole method revolves around helping someone else.
The Alternative Method (No Raid Needed)
Instead of doing the Etris raid, what you want to do is save a player from the Depths.
But there’s a condition.
The person you’re saving needs to be level 15 or lower.
That’s the key part. If they’re above that, it won’t count.
Once you help them escape or save them properly, that’s basically your requirement done.
What Happens After
After you’ve done that, you need to go back to Etris.
Now here’s where things can get a bit annoying. Boats might not work properly, so you might have to rely on a friend with a guild base to get there.
Otherwise, you’re stuck swimming, which is not ideal but still doable if you really want to.
Talking to the Justicar NPC
Once you’re in Etris, head to the big tree in the middle.
There’s an NPC there, that’s the one you need to talk to.
If you’ve never spoken to him before, just go through the basic dialogue first.
Then talk to him again, and you should see a new option that lets you join the Justicar origin.
That’s it. No raid, no extra steps.
This method is way easier compared to doing the Etris raid, especially if you’re not trying to deal with all that.
All you really need is one player under level 15 and a quick rescue in the Depths, and you’re done.
If you’ve been stuck thinking the raid was the only way, this should save you a lot of time.
