Digimon: Reboot Idle is still pretty new, but honestly, it already has a lot going on. The player count is still small right now, though it definitely feels like one of those games that’s going to keep growing as more Digimon fans find out about it.

New Digimon and Event Units
The game recently added several new Digimons along with updates and patches.
One of the biggest things right now is the Diaboromon X event. It’s only running for a limited time, around two weeks, so it’s worth grinding for before it disappears.

Gold Gummymon Is Extremely Useful
One Digimon you should absolutely pay attention to is Gold Gummymon.
It gives your entire team 50% extra EXP, which is huge because Adventure Mode is currently the main leveling method in the game.
Since most progression depends on leveling your Digimon quickly, this buff helps a lot, especially if you plan on AFK grinding for long periods.
Adventure Mode Explained
Adventure Mode is basically the game’s AFK grinding system.
You set your team up, let them fight automatically, and come back later to collect EXP and rewards. It’s one of the easiest ways to progress while doing other things.
The newer adventure map currently gives much better EXP than the older areas, almost double compared to previous maps.
The newer map also drops dungeon tickets, which are required for entering dungeons.
Digimon Passives
The game now includes passive abilities for Digimons.
Different Megas have different passives, and this makes team building a lot more important than before. Some Digimons become much stronger because of their passive synergy instead of raw stats alone.
The update added several Mega Digimon passives, so it’s worth checking which units fit your setup best before committing resources.
How Evolution Works
If you ever get confused about evolution requirements, the game actually makes it pretty simple.

- Click the Digimon
- Open the Evolution Chart
- Follow the listed requirements
For example, Alphamon Ouryuken requires Alphamon and Ouryuken together.
Most evolution paths can be checked directly inside the game, so you usually won’t need outside guides once you understand where the menu is.
Important Places in the Digimon Center
The Digimon Center has most of the systems you’ll use regularly.
Selling Items
KingChessmon acts as the seller NPC for extra items you don’t need.
You can sell materials and unused items there, though honestly, it may be smarter to save certain things because the developers apparently plan to add trading later.
Because of that, burst mode items could become valuable later on.
Crafting System
Crafting is one of the biggest progression systems right now.
Some important things you can craft include:
- Accelerators
- Black Gear
- Evoluters
- Ultimate Auxiliary Energy
- Jogress Chips
- Digivices
- Data Chips
- Blank Chips
The most important crafted items right now are probably Jogress Chips and Ultimate Auxiliary Energy since they’re heavily tied to progression and stronger Digimon setups.
Merchant Shop
The Merchant sells special Digimon creations including:
- MagnaLeomon
- Ophanimon
- Cherubimon
- Beelzemon
These aren’t cheap, but they also aren’t impossible to get if you grind consistently.
Egg Hatching
Egg hatching is straightforward.
You bring the eggs to the hatch area, use the required materials, and hatch them there.
This is where most players slowly build up their collection over time.
Cloning System
Cloning becomes extremely difficult later on.
Once you reach higher clone levels, the success chances become painfully low. At higher stages, you can end up with around a 1% success rate, which makes maxing clones very grind-heavy.
Still, cloning is important because the stat boosts are huge.
Arena Shop
The Arena Shop contains several useful progression items:
- Accelerators
- Burst Mode Items
- Digiclone S
- Other upgrade materials
You’ll be spending a lot of time here later, especially once you start optimizing your Digimon builds.
Dungeons and X Digivolutions
Dungeons are currently one of the hardest pieces of content in the game.
The newer dungeon system is tied heavily to X Digivolutions and special materials.
The Arena Coliseum map currently drops:

- MagnaDramon X
- Daemon X
Some X Digivolutions only have around a 0.1% drop chance, so expect a serious grind.
If your Digimon levels are low, the dungeon can destroy you pretty quickly.
The creator of the video even admitted getting completely cooked trying it before leveling up more.
Equipment and Titles
Equipment boosts important stats like:
- Damage
- EXP gain
- Overall progression speed
Titles also help a lot, especially later in the game.
Dungeon titles and grind titles can noticeably improve your farming efficiency.
