Alright… if you pulled Alucard and you’re staring at his kit wondering whether he’s actually broken or just looks complicated, let’s break it down properly.
Because on paper?
He looks overloaded.
But once you understand how his bleed, wounded, summons, and Memoria stack together… you realize why people are calling him one of the strongest DPS units right now.
Let’s go step by step.
Cost & Early Game Value
First thing — he’s cheap.
It costs around 87,200 to fully max him, which is very low considering his output.
Even better:
He gets full AoE at Upgrade 4.
That means he’s not just late-game scaling.
He’s actually usable for early wave defense too.
That’s already a huge advantage.
Base Passive – Bleed + Wounded System
This is where things get interesting.
Bleed
He applies:
- 25% bleed damage over 8 seconds.
So enemies constantly take damage over time.
Wounded
When a bleeding enemy enters his range, they get afflicted with Wounded.
Wounded increases all damage taken by:
- 20% base
- Up to 35% at max upgrade
That means he’s not just DPS — he’s also team damage support.
Any unit attacking wounded enemies deals significantly more damage.
This is why his value goes beyond personal DPS.
Upgrade 11 Ability – Root Strain (Summon Mechanic)
At upgrade 11, he unlocks Root Strain.
When activated:
- He spawns around 10 summons.
- Each summon deals heavy damage.
- If a summon dies, Alucard gains +1% damage (up to 35%).
So just by using his ability, he passively ramps his own damage.
Now here’s the important part.
While summons are alive:
- He gains -10% SPA (faster attack speed).
So ability = more damage + faster attacks.
Familiar Passive (Major Damage Spike)
The Familiar effect changes everything.
It does three major things:
- Doubles summon HP.
- Marked enemies spawn additional summons when killed.
- Grants Alucard 200% damage increase.
Yes. Two hundred percent.
This is what turns him from “good” into “top-tier”.
Without Familiar, he’s strong.
With Familiar, he becomes insane.
Extra Effects
When attacking bleeding enemies:
- Applies 50% slow for 5 seconds.
That adds crowd control utility.
So now he has:
Bleed
Wounded
Slow
Summons
Self-scaling damage
He’s stacking mechanics constantly.
Memoria Effects (Where It Gets Even Wilder)
His Memoria adds even more scaling.
1. Bonus Damage vs Bleeding Targets
Deals 30% more damage to bleeding enemies.
Since he constantly applies bleed, this is almost permanent uptime.
2. Auto-Bleed on Range Entry
Enemies entering his range automatically take bleed damage over time.
This guarantees wounded uptime faster.
Note:
This effect does NOT go through shields, so shield breakers are important.
3. 5% Damage Per Summon (Up to 100%)
For every summon on the track:
+5% damage
Max 100%.
Realistically, you won’t maintain max stacks constantly because of cooldown limits.
But even partial stacking pushes his DPS extremely high.
Ability Cooldown & Damage
Cooldown: ~150 seconds.
When activated:
- Spawns ~10 summons.
- Base summon damage is very high.
- With high stats (Z+ and strong traits), scaling becomes ridiculous.
In proper team comps, this ability spikes boss damage massively.
Best Synergies
Now this is important.
Alucard is strong alone.
But he becomes broken with synergy.
Kafka (Best Synergy)
- Reapplies DoT.
- Applies Contagious.
- Makes DoT deal 50% more damage.
This massively boosts bleed output.
If you have Kafka, Alucard’s DPS jumps significantly.
Broly
- 100% crit rate.
- 100% crit damage.
Crit scaling with his already boosted damage is huge.
Essential for max DPS builds.
Oza
- Reapplies bleed.
- Provides 70–85% damage boost.
- Enables full bleed team synergy.
This allows consistent wounded uptime and stacked damage.
Strengths
- Cheap to max.
- Early AoE access.
- Massive scaling.
- Team damage support (Wounded).
- Strong synergy with bleed teams.
- Excellent boss damage.
He’s both DPS and support at the same time.
Weaknesses
- Summon stacking isn’t always maxed.
- Shield enemies reduce some passive value.
- Requires synergy to hit absolute peak potential.
- Ability cooldown is long.
He’s strong solo — but broken in proper comps.
