Update 3 in Anime Ghosts added a brand new mechanic that many players immediately started hunting for: Secret Bosses. These hidden enemies exist in every world and defeating them gives players a chance to obtain Relics, which provide permanent boosts to your account.
At first, many players were confused about how these bosses work and where exactly to find them. The locations are not always obvious, and some are hidden behind small paths, teleport spots, or even areas you normally wouldn’t explore.
This guide explains how secret bosses work, why you should farm them, and every secret boss location currently available in Anime Ghosts.
How Secret Bosses Work in Anime Ghosts
Each world in the game contains one hidden secret boss.
When you defeat one of these bosses, they drop:
- Relic Shards
- World Tokens
- A chance to obtain a Relic
Relics are extremely valuable because they provide permanent stat boosts to your character.
However, they are rare.
Each relic has about a 0.1% drop chance, which means you may need to defeat the boss many times before getting one.
The good news is that relics can also be upgraded using relic shards, allowing their bonuses to become much stronger over time.
Relics can reach level 100, which turns them into extremely powerful boosts for progression.
World 1 Secret Boss Location
The first secret boss is actually very easy to find.
When you spawn in World 1, go toward the main spawn area where the chest is located.
From there:
- Walk behind the chest
- Continue moving behind the nearby building
The secret boss will be waiting there.
This boss drops the World 1 Relic, which increases energy gain.
Energy relics are extremely useful because higher energy allows faster progression and farming.
World 2 Secret Boss Location
The second secret boss is located near the main boss area.
When you spawn into World 2, head toward the portal path where the world boss normally stands.
Instead of fighting the boss:
- Turn left toward the boss area
- Look behind the boss location
- You will see a tunnel that was previously blocked
The tunnel is now open.
Go through the tunnel and you’ll find the World 2 Secret Boss waiting inside.
This boss drops a relic that boosts damage, making it very useful for players pushing harder content.
World 3 Secret Boss Location
The third secret boss is hidden in a location many players didn’t even realize was accessible.
When you reach World 3, head toward the area where Aizen is located.
Behind him you’ll find a structure that looks like a castle entrance.
Walk up the path behind that area and you will be teleported to a hidden platform.
Once you arrive there, the secret boss appears.
This boss is Ichigo, and defeating him can reward the Hollow Mask relic along with relic shards.
The Hollow Mask relic is believed to boost stats like gacha luck or drop luck, although the exact bonuses may vary.
World 4 Secret Boss Location
In the fourth world, you will need to travel through the main dungeon-style path.
From the spawn area:
- Continue through the enemies
- Move toward the large statue area
Before reaching the statue:
- Take a right turn
- Jump onto the nearby structure
- Enter through a hidden gate
Inside that area you’ll find Sung Jin-Woo, the World 4 Secret Boss.
This boss drops the Hunter Daggers relic, along with relic shards and world tokens.
Be careful though — this boss is much stronger than the standard world boss.
It has roughly 10 times more HP, making it a serious fight for players who just unlocked the world.
World 5 Secret Boss Location
The fifth world secret boss requires a bit more exploration.
Once you spawn into World 5, simply run straight forward through the map.
Continue moving forward past the environment objects until you reach a strange structure that looks like a large controller or device.
From there:
- Jump onto the nearby platform
- Move behind the signal tower structure
You will eventually find a spot where you can fall or drop through the ground.
Below that hidden area is where the World 5 Secret Boss is located.
Like the others, this boss drops relic shards and a unique relic tied to the world.
Demon District Secret Boss Location
The Demon District also has its own hidden boss.
Once you spawn into the area:
- Follow the main path forward
- Continue moving until you reach the Moon Demon enemies
When you reach that area:
- Jump over the nearby boxes
- Move behind the structures
Here you will find the secret boss Gyutaro waiting.
He drops the Pillar Necklace relic, along with relic shards.
This boss has around 15 octillion HP, so it can be a serious challenge if your damage isn’t high enough yet.
World 7 Secret Boss Location
The final secret boss currently in the game is located in World 7, and this one is extremely powerful.
When you spawn into the world:
- Find the building located behind one of the gachas
- Climb onto the building using small parkour jumps
Once you reach the rooftop, the secret boss will be waiting there.
This boss currently has the highest HP in the entire game, reaching around 1.94 decillion HP, which is far stronger than even the world bosses.
Only highly progressed players will be able to defeat it consistently.
Secret bosses are one of the most important additions introduced in Anime Ghosts Update 3.
They add a long-term progression system through relic farming and reward players who explore each world carefully. While the drop rates may seem low, upgrading relics over time can dramatically increase your stats.
If you’re serious about progressing in the game, tracking down and farming every secret boss is absolutely worth the effort.
