If you’ve just logged into Anime Vanguards after Update 11.5, the first thing you’ll notice is how much stuff got dropped at once. New units, a dungeon, events, even a level editor—it’s a lot. And honestly, if you don’t know where to start, it can feel messy real quick.
I’ve already gone through the update myself, tested a few things, and figured out what actually matters. So instead of just listing features, here’s a proper breakdown of how to get everything and what you should focus on first.
Anime Vanguards Update 11.5 Guide – Codes, Patch Notes
All New Units & How To Get Them
Let’s start with the part everyone cares about—the units.
Ichigo (Savior → Vanguard)
Ichigo is the main highlight of this update, and thankfully, getting him is straightforward at the start.
- Available from the banner (Selection Banner recommended)
- After pulling him, you’ll need to evolve him using materials + dungeon drops
- His full power comes from the Vanguard evolution, which requires extra steps (mask, dungeon grind, sacrifices)
From my experience, pulling him isn’t the hard part—it’s everything after that. But once you fully evolve him, he’s easily one of the strongest units in the game right now.
Aizen (Deceiver)
Aizen is tied to the Underworld Dungeon.
- Mainly obtained through the Dungeon Shop
- Requires dungeon currency (Hollow Tokens)
- Needs to be evolved for full value
He’s not just a side unit either—he’s actually required in Ichigo’s evolution process, so you’re going to farm him anyway.
Ulquiorra (Diablo)
Ulquiorra is also dungeon-based, but slightly different.
- Can drop directly from the dungeon (~5% chance)
- Also available through the Dungeon Shop
- Has a pity system, so you’re guaranteed eventually
Between RNG drops and shop farming, you’ll get him sooner or later. Just don’t expect it instantly unless you get lucky.
Worldline Unit
There’s also a Worldline unit, which is simpler:
- Earned by progressing Worldline floors
- Memorial rewards at Floor 25 and 50
If you were already grinding Worldline before, this is just extra value on top.
New Dungeon & Shop – Your Main Grind Spot
Most of your time in this update will be spent in the Underworld Dungeon.
Here’s what you get from it:
- Hollow Tokens (main currency)
- Evolution materials
- Chance to drop Ulquiorra
- Items needed for Ichigo evolution
The Dungeon Shop is actually solid this time:
- Buy units (Aizen, Ulquiorra)
- Buy Memorials
- Buy evolution items
This means you’re not fully dependent on RNG anymore—you can grind your way to progress, which feels way better.
Events
There are two main events running:
Moonless Sky
- Focused on Ichigo progression
- Rewards tied to evolving him
Spiritual Attackers
- Helps with Aizen & Ulquiorra evolution
- Makes grinding less painful
If you’re actively playing, these are worth doing. They don’t feel like filler—they actually speed things up.
Level Editor
This was unexpected.
You can now create your own levels by talking to the cat NPC in the lobby. It’s basically a sandbox mode where you:
- Customize enemy paths
- Add restrictions
- Build your own challenges
Not something you’ll grind daily, but it’s a nice break from the usual loop.
Customization & Small Additions
A few extra things got added that are easy to miss:
- New Unit Frames (6 total) – equip different styles per slot
- New bundles & cosmetics
- Improved profile visuals
These don’t affect gameplay much, but if you like customizing your setup, there’s more to play with now.
Codes (Quick Boost)
This update also includes new codes
150KYT
LATECUSTOMLEVEL
MOONLESS.
Always redeem these early—they help a lot with progression.
If you’re just starting the update, don’t overthink it. Follow this order:
- Pull Ichigo from banner
- Start farming Underworld Dungeon
- Unlock Aizen (needed later)
- Grind materials for Ichigo evolution
- Pick up Ulquiorra along the way
- Do events for extra rewards
That’s the cleanest way to progress without wasting time.
Honestly? Yeah.
This update feels more structured than previous ones. You’re not just relying on luck—you actually have a grind path that leads somewhere. The dungeon, events, and unit progression all connect nicely.
The only real downside is the grind can feel heavy if you’re starting from nothing. But if you stay consistent, everything falls into place.
And once you finish Vanguard Ichigo… yeah, you’ll see why everyone’s rushing this update.
