A Dusty Trip Classes Update Guide – All New Classes

A Dusty Trip has officially joined the growing list of Roblox games adding class systems, and honestly, it fits the game surprisingly well. The new Classes Update gives players different starting loadouts, passive bonuses, and playstyles that can completely change how your runs feel. Instead of every player spawning with the exact same setup, you can now choose a role that matches your preferred way of surviving the wasteland.

Some classes focus on healing and support, while others give better combat power, faster utility actions, or strong starting weapons.

If you have been collecting shards and wondering what to spend them on, classes are now one of the biggest progression systems in the game.

How Classes Work in A Dusty Trip

The class menu can be accessed directly from the main lobby area. Once opened, you can scroll through multiple classes on the left side of the screen.

Each class includes:

  • A unique starting loadout
  • Passive bonuses
  • Different rarities
  • Specialized playstyles

Some classes are easier for beginners, while others are clearly designed for aggressive late-game survival.

When selecting a class, the game shows all of its bonuses and starting equipment on the right side of the menu.

All New Classes in the Update

Here is a breakdown of every currently available class in the update.

Rusty

Rusty is one of the simpler starter-style classes.

Bonuses

  • Faster health regeneration

Playstyle

Rusty focuses on passive survivability. While the class does not start with powerful equipment, the faster health regeneration helps during longer trips where healing items are limited.

This is a solid beginner-friendly option because it reduces downtime and helps newer players recover from mistakes more easily.

Scrapper

Scrapper is a very basic but useful utility-focused class.

Bonuses

  • Starts with a Metal Pipe

Playstyle

The Metal Pipe gives players an immediate melee weapon early on, which can help save ammo during the beginning of runs.

This class is straightforward and useful for players who like conserving resources while scavenging.

Medic

Medic is one of the strongest support-oriented classes currently available.

Bonuses

  • Starts with 3 Bandages
  • Revive speed is 2x faster

Playstyle

Medic becomes extremely valuable during multiplayer runs.

The faster revive speed can save teammates during dangerous mutant encounters, while the extra bandages give immediate healing support right from the start.

If you regularly play co-op with friends, Medic is one of the safest and most useful choices available.

Pit Crew

Pit Crew is designed entirely around vehicle survival and resource management.

Bonuses

  • Starts with Gas Can
  • Starts with Water
  • Starts with Oil
  • Tank fill speed is 2.5x faster

Playstyle

This class is excellent for long-distance survival runs.

Vehicle management becomes one of the biggest challenges later into a trip, and Pit Crew massively reduces the frustration of constantly refueling and maintaining your car.

Players focused on exploration and efficiency will probably get the most value from this class.

Nomad

Nomad is one of the first heavily combat-oriented classes.

Bonuses

  • Starts with Dual 6-7 Revolvers
  • Starts with Ammo Crates
  • Faster reload speed

Playstyle

Nomad immediately gives strong early-game firepower.

The faster reload speed helps maintain pressure during mutant fights, and dual revolvers are extremely effective against basic enemies early in a run.

This class feels designed for aggressive solo players who want strong combat momentum immediately after spawning.

Warlord (Mythical Class)

Warlord is currently the highest rarity class shown in the update and easily one of the strongest overall.

Bonuses

  • Starts with Dual AK-94s
  • Starts with Ammo Crates
  • Increased gun damage

Playstyle

This class is pure firepower.

The Dual AK-94 setup absolutely melts mutants, including stronger buff variants. Even tougher enemies go down quickly thanks to the increased weapon damage bonus.

During testing, basic mutants died in only a couple shots, while stronger enemies were eliminated far faster than usual.

Warlord feels designed for players who want maximum combat dominance from the very beginning of a run.

It is also currently one of the best classes for farming mutant-heavy areas efficiently.

Best Classes in the Update

Right now, a few classes clearly stand above the others depending on your playstyle.

Best Combat Class

Warlord

The damage bonus combined with dual AK-94s makes this class incredibly powerful for mutant clearing and aggressive survival.

Best Support Class

Medic

The revive speed bonus is extremely useful in multiplayer, and starting with extra healing always helps.

Best Utility Class

Pit Crew

Vehicle management is one of the most important parts of A Dusty Trip, and Pit Crew makes long journeys significantly easier.

Best Beginner Class

Rusty

The passive health regeneration helps newer players survive mistakes while learning the game.

Are Classes Worth Buying?

Yes, especially if you already have shards saved up.

Before this update, shards had fairly limited long-term value. Classes now give players meaningful progression choices that actually affect gameplay.

Some classes can completely change:

  • Combat efficiency
  • Team support value
  • Vehicle management
  • Resource economy
  • Early-game survival

The system also adds more replayability because each class encourages different strategies.

The Classes Update is honestly a great addition to A Dusty Trip.

The game already had solid survival mechanics, but classes now give players more identity and long-term progression during runs.

Instead of every trip feeling identical, players can now specialize into:

  • Combat-focused builds
  • Support roles
  • Resource managers
  • Survival-focused setups

Right now, Warlord looks like the strongest overall class because of its insane weapon power and damage boost, but support and utility classes like Medic and Pit Crew will probably become increasingly valuable during longer multiplayer runs.

As more classes get added in future updates, the system could easily become one of the biggest features in the game.
