All Star Tower Defense Vampire Queen Guide (Krul Tepes)

If you’re looking for a solid Vampire Queen showcase in All Star Tower Defense, this unit is actually more interesting than it might seem from the initial stats. Vampire Queen, based on Krul Tepes from Seraph of the End, comes with Fire enchant, Bleed, the Undead category, and a leader skill that can boost other Undead units.
What really caught my attention during the showcase, though, is how quickly her damage starts climbing after a few upgrades. She begins as a fairly simple ground unit, but her attacks become much stronger and her AoE improves as you progress through her upgrades.
So, let’s go through Vampire Queen’s stats, upgrades, abilities, animations, and whether she’s actually worth using.

Vampire Queen Stats and Traits
At Level 1, Vampire Queen costs 500 to place and starts with:
• 6.4K damage
• 6-second attack speed
• 40 range
• Ground placement

• Fire enchant
• Bleed
• Legendary Lineage
• Undead
• Mutate
• Girls

She also comes with a Leader Skill that gives units in the Undead category a +50% attack boost.
That leader skill is a pretty important part of the unit. If you’re already running an Undead-focused team, Vampire Queen can provide value even beyond her own damage.
Vampire Queen First Placement and Attack
Once Vampire Queen is placed, she starts with a fairly straightforward AoE Circle attack.
Her damage goes up to around 7.4K, while she keeps the 6-second attack speed and 40 range.
The first animation is actually kind of funny. Instead of immediately throwing out some massive vampire attack, she basically runs toward the enemy before attacking.

It’s simple, but it fits the character well enough and doesn’t take too long to play out.
Vampire Queen First Upgrade
Her first upgrade adds a significant amount of damage and increases her range.
The upgrade gives her:
• +650 damage
• +4K damage

• Increased range up to 80
• A new ability called Defiguration
This is where Vampire Queen starts becoming much more interesting.
Her attack changes from the original AoE Circle into an AoE Cone.
The attack is also noticeably faster. She basically performs a quick slash against the enemies, and the animation happens so quickly that it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.
That faster attack animation is a nice improvement because you’re not sitting around waiting for a long animation every time she attacks.

Vampire Queen Damage Progression
The next upgrades start pushing her damage much higher.
One upgrade adds approximately 14K additional damage, followed by another that adds around 31K damage.
At this point, Vampire Queen starts looking like a genuinely useful early-game unit rather than something you would only place for collection purposes.
The showcase specifically points out that she’s already reaching around 900K damage at Level 1 later in her upgrade path.
For a unit that can be obtained relatively easily, that’s a pretty impressive jump.

Vampire Queen Rejuvenation Upgrade
The next major upgrade is Rejuvenation.
This upgrade increases several of her stats, including:
• 1.8M additional damage
• Improved attack speed
• Attack speed increased toward 9 seconds as shown in the showcase
• +20 range
• Range increased to 100
Her AoE Cone itself doesn’t appear to change dramatically here. Instead, she gets more range and substantially better stats.
That means Vampire Queen can start hitting enemies from much farther away while continuing to use her cone attack.
Vampire Queen Rejuvenation Animation
This is where the showcase gets more interesting visually.
The attack animation changes and Vampire Queen summons another character associated with Seraph of the End during the attack.
It looks like the unit is bringing in one of the characters from the series to assist with the attack.
The exact visual isn’t nearly as important as the practical side of the upgrade, though. By this point, Vampire Queen is already shredding through enemies extremely quickly.
So you’re getting both a new animation and a major improvement in overall combat performance.
Vampire Queen Maximum Damage Showcase
After the upgrades and buffs are applied, Vampire Queen reaches around 31.8 million damage in the showcase.
That’s a massive difference compared with her starting stats.
And honestly, this is the part where the unit starts looking surprisingly good.
She’s not just a collectible character with a nice reference to Krul Tepes. Her upgraded damage makes her genuinely useful, especially considering how inexpensive she can be to get compared with some of the harder-to-obtain units.
Is Vampire Queen Good in ASTD?
Based on the showcase, Vampire Queen is a solid unit, particularly as a starter or progression unit.
Her biggest strengths are the combination of decent starting stats, strong upgrade scaling, AoE attacks, Fire enchant, Bleed, and her Undead leader skill.
The fact that she also gets a large range increase makes her much more useful as you continue upgrading her.
She’s not necessarily the type of unit that completely dominates the current meta, but that’s not really the point. For a unit that can be obtained through the raid and is relatively accessible, she provides a lot of value.
Vampire Queen Leader Skill
Don’t overlook her +50% Undead attack boost.
If your team contains multiple Undead units, Vampire Queen can potentially make the rest of your lineup stronger while also contributing her own damage.
This makes her more useful than a unit that only exists to deal damage.
If you’re building around Undead characters, she’s definitely worth considering.
Is Vampire Queen Tradable?
Yes, the showcase confirms that Vampire Queen is tradable.
That gives the unit some additional value because you can potentially trade her rather than simply keeping her in your collection.
However, the value is expected to be relatively low when the unit is easily obtainable through the raid. When a unit becomes widely available, its trading value naturally tends to drop.
So I wouldn’t expect Vampire Queen to suddenly become an extremely expensive trading piece just because she’s tradable.
