Anime Expeditions Traits Tier List – Best Chance, Effects

Traits are one of the most valuable progression systems in Anime Expeditions. A powerful trait can dramatically increase a unit’s damage, attack speed, range, or utility, making it far stronger than its base version.

This guide ranks every trait from S Tier to C Tier, explains what each one does, and helps you decide which traits are worth keeping or rerolling.

Anime Expeditions Traits Tier List – Best Chance, Effects

Traits are permanent upgrades applied to an individual unit. Unlike general upgrades, each copy of a unit has its own trait.

Traits can only be replaced by rolling another trait or removing the current one. Once replaced, the previous trait cannot be recovered unless you roll it again.

Most players obtain traits by using Trait Crystals at the Trait Reroll Machine in the Lobby.

Each reroll costs:

  • 1 Trait Crystal

Other Ways to Get Traits

Besides rerolling, traits can also be obtained by:

  • Summoning a unit that already has a trait
  • Temporary traits during certain game modes such as Expeditions

Only 0.75% of summoned units naturally come with a trait.

Units earned from clearing stages cannot spawn with traits.
