Araya Legacy Piece Quest Guide – How to Get & Finish Quest

If you are trying to unlock Araya in Legacy Piece, you have a fairly long quest ahead of you. The latest update adds Araya from Limbus Company, and getting her requires you to travel through multiple dungeons, defeat a lot of enemies, and farm some special materials.

The first part of the quest is pretty straightforward, but things get more challenging once you reach the Time Safe Dungeon. You will need to defeat Araya, collect several Threads and Time Safe Cores, and also obtain the Pinky Nurse Father title.

In this guide, I will walk you through the entire Araya quest from start to finish. I will also explain how her passive works, including her stages, shield, critical-hit marks, D-Hoyer charge, and the Stage 4 Shin effect.

To begin the Araya questline, head to Graveyard Island.

Once you arrive, make your way toward the back of the island. You should find the NPC connected to Araya there.

Talk to the NPC and choose the “I Will Find Your Moment” option.

This will start the Araya questline and give you your first objective.

Your first task is to defeat 180 Echoes of Spider House inside the Abandoned Estate dungeon.

After accepting the quest, talk to the NPC again. You should see an option to teleport directly to the Abandoned Estate.

Once inside, your job is simply to defeat 180 Echoes of Spider House.

There isn’t a complicated mechanic here, so this is a good part of the quest to use auto-play. If your character is strong enough to defeat the enemies quickly, you can turn on auto replay and let the dungeon run while you work toward the required number of kills.

The basic process is:

• Go to Graveyard Island.

• Find the Araya quest NPC.

• Choose I Will Find Your Moment.

• Accept the first quest.

• Teleport to Abandoned Estate.

• Defeat 180 Echoes of Spider House.

• Use auto replay if you can clear the enemies quickly.

• Complete the objective and continue the quest.

Once you have defeated all 180 enemies, you can move on to the next part.

The next objective takes you to the Time Safe Dungeon.

Return to the same NPC and use the teleport option to enter the dungeon. This time, you need to fight Araya herself.

This fight is much more difficult than the first objective because Araya can deal serious damage. If your character isn’t particularly tanky, you can easily get knocked out during the fight.

For a safer clear, I recommend:

• Playing on Easy difficulty.

• Turning on Auto Observation.

• Using a character with good survivability.

• Avoiding unnecessary deaths.

The goal is not just to deal damage as quickly as possible. Staying alive is extremely important here because of the dungeon’s death mechanic.

One of the most annoying things about the Time Safe Dungeon is what happens when you die.

Every time your character dies, the remaining dungeon time is reduced by half.

This means a single death can already make the run more difficult. If you keep dying, the timer can become so short that finishing the boss becomes nearly impossible.

Because of this, don’t simply focus on damage. Make sure you can survive the fight long enough to finish Araya.

Auto Observation can help, but if your character is struggling to stay alive, I recommend manually paying attention to the fight instead of completely relying on auto-play.

Defeating Araya once isn’t enough to unlock her.

After completing the boss objective, you need to farm the Araya boss in Time Safe Dungeon for several materials.

The required items are:

• 1 Thread of the Past

• 1 Thread of the Present

• 1 Thread of the Future

• 1 Unsevered Thread

• 15 Time Safe Cores

• Pinky Nurse Father title

This is where the quest starts becoming more grind-heavy.

You will need to repeatedly run Time Safe and defeat Araya until you have collected everything you need. How long this takes will depend on your drop luck and how quickly you can clear the dungeon.

The Pinky Nurse Father title is another important requirement for Araya.

You can work toward obtaining it through the Araya and Time Safe progression. Since you are already farming the boss for the Threads and Time Safe Cores, it makes sense to keep running the same dungeon rather than constantly switching between different activities.

I recommend keeping track of your materials as you farm so you know exactly what you still need.

Once you have all the required materials and have obtained the Pinky Nurse Father title, return to the NPC on Graveyard Island.

At this point, you should be able to purchase the required Araya weapon from the NPC.

After purchasing the weapon, Araya will finally be unlocked.

So, the complete process looks like this:

• Start the quest on Graveyard Island.

• Defeat 180 Echoes of Spider House.

• Enter Time Safe Dungeon.

• Defeat Araya.

• Farm Araya for the required Threads.

• Collect 15 Time Safe Cores.

• Obtain the Pinky Nurse Father title.

• Return to Graveyard Island.

• Purchase the Araya weapon.

• Unlock Araya.

Once you unlock Araya, you can start using her unique moveset.

Her abilities fit the character well, but the most interesting part of Araya isn’t just her attacks. She also has a fairly detailed passive system that changes as you progress through different stages.

Instead of simply using abilities whenever they are available, you need to pay attention to your stage, shield, critical hits, and charge.

Araya’s passive has four stages.

As you use her skills and land attacks, you can progress through these stages. Each stage gives you additional benefits, making Stage 4 the main goal during longer fights.

One of the biggest benefits is the damage increase from direct hits.

You receive:

• 4% bonus damage per stage

• Up to 16% bonus damage at Stage 4

• A shield worth 3% of maximum HP per stage

• 7.5% reduced damage over time per stage

• Critical-hit mechanics

• A special finisher system

• Permanent Shin after reaching Stage 4

Because of this, managing your stages correctly is an important part of playing Araya effectively.

Every time you advance to another stage, Araya gains a shield based on her maximum HP.

The shield provides 3% of maximum HP per stage.

This means the higher your stage, the more protection you receive while also getting stronger offensive bonuses.

However, there is a major downside.

If your shield breaks while you are at Stage 3 or Stage 4, Araya will collapse.

So while reaching the higher stages gives you more power, you also need to make sure you don’t allow the shield to break at the wrong moment.

This makes Araya a little more complicated than a character where you can simply spam abilities without thinking about the passive.

Araya’s critical hits also play an important role.

When you land a critical hit, the enemy becomes marked.

You can then use your next skill to detonate these marks and deal additional damage.

This means you can get more out of Araya by paying attention to your attack rotation. Instead of randomly throwing out skills, you can use critical hits to set up the target and then follow them with an ability that takes advantage of the marks.

If you can maintain this rotation consistently, you should be able to get considerably more damage from the passive.

Critical hits also help build D-Hoyer charge.

Every fourth skill can trigger a finisher, while the finisher becomes empowered once your charge reaches 50 or more.

So, you have another resource to manage while fighting.

The general idea is to keep using your skills, land critical hits, build your charge, and then take advantage of the stronger finisher once you reach the required amount.

This is one of the mechanics that makes Araya more interesting for players who enjoy characters with more involved rotations.

Reaching Stage 4 gives Araya one of her strongest passive benefits.

Once you reach Stage 4, the Shin effect becomes permanent until you die.

That can be extremely useful during longer fights because you don’t have to worry about losing the effect simply because some time has passed.

The catch is that you need to stay alive.

Since your shield breaking at Stage 3 or Stage 4 can cause Araya to collapse, reaching Stage 4 isn’t just about getting there. You also need to protect yourself and maintain the shield.

If you are planning to use Araya regularly, I would recommend getting comfortable with her passive before jumping into difficult content.

Try to keep track of your current stage and take advantage of the extra damage from direct hits. Critical hits are also important because they allow you to mark enemies and set up your next skill.

At higher stages, be especially careful with your shield. The extra bonuses are great, but losing the shield at Stage 3 or Stage 4 can punish you heavily.

For longer fights, reaching Stage 4 and maintaining it can give you a significant advantage, especially because of the permanent Shin effect.

Getting Araya in Legacy Piece takes a little patience, but the quest becomes much easier once you know exactly what you need to do.

Start by heading to Graveyard Island and accepting the I Will Find Your Moment quest. From there, defeat 180 Echoes of Spider House in Abandoned Estate before moving on to the Time Safe Dungeon.

The biggest part of the grind is farming Araya for the required Threads, 15 Time Safe Cores, and the Pinky Nurse Father title. Once you have everything, return to the NPC and purchase the Araya weapon to unlock her.

Araya is also more than just another character because of her four-stage passive. If you can manage her shields, critical marks, D-Hoyer charge, and Stage 4 mechanics properly, you can get a lot more out of her moveset.
