This update feels like one of those in-between patches. There is new stuff to try, some gear that is actually interesting, and a new class to mess around with, but at the same time it clearly feels like a transition phase before bigger changes happen later.
The game has now been taken over by Ajax Studios, and the focus is shifting toward backend improvements. That likely means things will stay a bit quiet content-wise for a few months, so this update is more about experimenting with what is here rather than expecting something massive.
Still, there is enough here to break down properly, especially if you want to understand what is actually worth using.
New Super: Citadel (Orderly Hammer)
The new super class, Citadel, is very different from most builds people are used to. It is not about dealing damage yourself. Instead, it is built entirely around making one teammate hit as hard as possible.
The whole idea is simple in theory but a bit unusual in practice. The more damage you take and mitigate, the more you can buff your ally.
This makes the class:
- Very strong in difficult content
- Much weaker in easy fights
- Extremely team-dependent
If your team has a strong damage dealer, this class can boost them a lot. If not, it feels pointless.
Where to Find the Class
You can access this class in the Heaven area.
From the guild sign:
- Head toward Heaven
- Move forward
- Take a right turn
- You will find the NPC there
It is pretty straightforward once you know where to go.
What the Class Actually Does
This class revolves around one key idea: turning your own damage taken into buffs for your teammate.
The main skill, Blinding Vow, is what everything is built around. It allows you to funnel a massive damage boost into one ally.
To maximize it:
- You want to take damage
- You want high defense and mitigation
- You want to stack buffs constantly
So instead of avoiding damage like most builds, you are actually trying to absorb as much as possible in a controlled way.
Important Skills Explained Simply
Blinding Vow
This is the entire reason to play the class.
It buffs a single ally’s damage, and the strength of that buff depends on how much damage you are taking and mitigating.
If you are not using this properly, the class does nothing.
Crucible
This increases your damage reduction, which helps you take less actual damage while still counting it as mitigated.
That matters because mitigation is what fuels your buffs.
It is useful, but it can feel expensive in terms of energy, so you need to decide if your build can support it.
Synchron Protection
This is meant to help with team tanking, but without mastery upgrades, it does not feel very impactful.
Most players will end up skipping this unless they specifically build around it.
Why Church Is the Best Path
The Church path works extremely well with this class because of how it handles healing and defense buffs.
Every time you:
- Guard
- Take damage
You start stacking:
- Healing
- Defense buffs
This creates a loop where:
- You take damage
- You heal
- You gain buffs
- You take more damage again
Within a few seconds, you can stack multiple defense buffs very quickly, which makes your support much stronger.
Mastery Choice
Going for the middle mastery path makes the most sense here.
It improves Blinding Vow and also helps deal with mechanics that normally ignore your defense, like sunder effects.
That is important because if your defense gets bypassed, you lose a big part of your value as a support.
How Guarding Works Here
Guarding is much more important with this class compared to others.
Instead of just reducing damage, guarding here directly helps increase your effectiveness as a support because it contributes to mitigation.
More mitigation means stronger buffs for your ally.
So you actually want to guard often instead of just attacking.
Easter Event Overview
The Easter event is simple but a bit rough if you are not prepared.
Once you reach around level 18, special bunny enemies start appearing.
They have:
- Around 300 HP in early areas like forests
- Around 600 HP in harder areas like desert and volcano
These enemies can overwhelm new players very easily.
Important Tip for Survival
These bunny enemies only appear during the day.
If you farm or progress at night, you avoid them completely.
This makes a big difference if you are still leveling or undergeared.
Fast Farming Strategy
If you are already geared, there is a very fast way to farm the event.
Using:
- Daggers
- Rogue mastery (focused on crit)
- High crit setup
You can kill bosses almost instantly.
With setups like this, players have been able to farm:
- Event currency
- Gear
- Enchants
within a couple of hours.
New Weapons (Quick Thoughts)
Most of the new weapons share very similar designs and effects.
- Ivory Spear looks decent but not special
- Axe and hammer are average visually
- Greatsword and dagger are more usable
Nothing here feels game-changing on its own, but they are usable depending on your build.
New Gear
Some of the new gear pieces are actually interesting.
Gleaming Carrot
Gives around 6% crit after using a move. Simple and useful for crit builds.
Rabbit Foot
Provides flat speed and crit bonuses, and can apply debuffs. This has potential in certain builds, especially ones that rely on applying effects.
Party Egg
Gives a skill that scales with speed and applies debuffs. This can be useful for fast builds.
Chocolate Egg
Provides a healing effect, but it is limited and not very impactful overall.
Combo
The new dagger and enchant combo is where things get interesting.
The weapon:
- Has a chance to give energy on crit
The enchant:
- Gives stat buffs when you gain energy
So what happens is:
- You crit
- You gain energy
- You gain stat buffs
- More stats increase your chance to crit again
This creates a loop where your stats keep stacking quickly.
In builds with fast multi-hit attacks, like dagger or greatsword carnage, you can fill your energy bar very quickly and stack multiple buffs in a short time.
This update is not huge, but it adds some variety.
The new Citadel class is very niche but can be strong in the right team. The Easter event is decent for farming, especially if you know how to deal with the enemies. The new gear introduces some fun interactions, even if it is not fully meta yet.
Overall, this feels like a setup update rather than a peak one. It gives players something to experiment with while the game moves toward bigger changes in the future.
