Cursed Gear All Gear Locations Guide – Walkthrough + Costs

Alright, if you just started Cursed Gear, finding gears can feel more confusing than it should be. The game doesn’t really guide you, and you’ll probably run past some of these without even realizing.

So instead of just listing locations, I’ll walk you through it like you’re actually exploring the map step-by-step.

Start in Shibuya

Your main hub for early gears is Shibuya.

Once you come out of the train, this is basically your starting route.

Step-by-step:

  • Exit the train
  • Take a right turn
  • Head into the nearby building/area

Inside here, you’ll find most of the core starter gears all grouped together.

Starter Gear Locations (All Cost 50)

These are the easiest ones to unlock and where most players begin.

You’ll find:

  • Constructor — 50
  • Manipulator — 50
  • Executioner — 50
  • Projector — 50

These are all in the same general area, so you don’t need to run around much.

Quick advice:

Don’t overthink your first pick—you can always switch later. Just grab something that fits your playstyle.

How to Unlock Sensor (Hidden Gear)

This one trips a lot of players up.

It’s not just sitting there—you actually need to unlock it.

What to do:

  • Look for a button inside the building
  • Press it → this opens a hidden path/door
  • Follow the newly opened route
  • Go straight until you reach the Sensor NPC

If the door is already open, someone else probably triggered it.

Usurper Location (Breakable Path Required)

This one is a bit more interactive.

Steps:

  • Find the blocked path/door
  • Use M2 or any destructive move
  • Break through the obstacle
  • Continue forward and go upstairs

That’s where you’ll find Usurper

This is one of those moments where the game expects you to experiment instead of telling you directly.

Hydra Location (Different Area + Expensive)

Hydra is NOT in Shibuya, so don’t waste time searching there.

How to get there:

  • Go back to the train
  • Travel to the temple area
  • Move forward → then go left
  • Continue through the path (watch out for enemies)
  • Break through a wall if needed

You’ll eventually find:

  • Hydra — 333

Important:

  • Much more expensive than starter gears
  • There’s a healing spot nearby, which is useful

Quick Gear Location

To make it easy:

  • Shibuya (Main Area)
    • Constructor
    • Manipulator
    • Executioner
    • Projector
  • Hidden in Shibuya
    • Sensor (button unlock)
    • Usurper (breakable path)
  • Temple Area
    • Hydra (cost: 333)

Before you rush to buy something, keep this in mind:

  • Cheaper gears (50) are perfectly viable
  • Expensive doesn’t always mean better
  • Some gears are harder to use (like Usurper or Sensor)
  • Your build + CT matters more than the gear alone

If you’re new, start simple:

  • Manipulator → safe and strong
  • Projector → fun and aggressive
  • Constructor → forgiving and useful

Finding gears in Cursed Gear is less about grinding and more about knowing where to look. Once you unlock the main ones in Shibuya, the rest becomes a matter of exploration.

And honestly, that’s part of the fun—you’re not just picking a class, you’re discovering it.
