DBZ Path To Power Beginner Guide – Trello, Raids, Forms

If you’re just starting DBZ Path To Power, there is a lot to figure out at first. You have quests, bosses, transformations, raids, different worlds, stat resets, Z Capsules, rebirths, and several NPCs that are easy to miss.

In this beginner guide, I’ll put everything together in one place so you can follow a simple progression from your first levels toward the endgame. I’ll explain how to level up, where the important worlds are, how to unlock Kaioken, how rebirth works, where to find Dr. Gero and Z Capsules, and what you should focus on at each stage.

When you first start playing, don’t worry about trying to unlock everything immediately.

Your progression should generally look like this:

Quests → Bosses → Level 100 → Raids → Namek → Cell Raid → Level 500 → Beerus’s Planet → Level 600 → Normal TOP → Level 800+ → Hard TOP → Level 1,000 → Rebirth

There are other activities you can do along the way, but this gives you a simple path to follow.

The biggest thing I learned from going through the early progression is that you don’t want to spend too long grinding weak content once better XP sources become available.

When you first enter the game, the easiest way to start leveling is to follow the quests that are closest to you.

You don’t need to worry about finding complicated grinding methods at Level 1.

Just complete the recommended quests around your character and keep collecting XP.

Your first target should be Level 20.

The early quests are mainly there to get you familiar with the game while giving you enough XP to unlock the next stage of progression.

Once you reach around Level 20, you can start focusing on boss quests.

Open your menu and go to the Quest section.

From there, use the filter and select Bosses.

You should now see the boss quests available to you.

I recommend prioritizing these whenever they are available because they give you a clear objective and good progression for the early game.

If you finish all your boss quests, don’t just stop leveling. Go back to the normal quest list and choose the quests that provide the most XP that you can currently complete.

Your early-game loop should be:

Boss quests → Best available normal quests → More boss quests → Repeat

Keep doing this until you reach Level 100.

As you level up, you’ll start getting access to different forms.

One example is Kaioken, although you don’t have to immediately focus on it during your first few levels.

Kaioken also has its own location and unlock process, which we’ll cover later in the guide.

You may also unlock transformations such as Super Saiyan as you progress.

These forms can make your character stronger and give you something to work toward while you’re grinding through the early levels.

Level 100 is your first major progression milestone.

Before Level 100, quests and bosses are your main focus.

Once you reach Level 100, you can start taking advantage of raids, which are much more important for efficient leveling.

So don’t feel like you need to stay in the starting areas forever.

Complete your quests, prioritize bosses, and push toward Level 100 so you can move into the game’s better XP sources.

Once you reach Level 100, start looking into raids.

Raids are one of the best ways to level once you’ve unlocked them, especially if you have stronger players helping you.

If you already have friends who play DBZ Path To Power, this is a great time to ask them for help.

A strong player can carry you through content that would otherwise be difficult, allowing you to progress much faster.

If you don’t have strong friends, don’t worry. You can look for other players and groups that run raids.

If you’re trying to find the game’s raids, Capsule Corp is an important location to remember.

The available raids can be found there, making it a useful place to visit when you’re ready to start raid progression.

As you unlock more raids, you’ll want to pay attention to which ones give you the best XP for your current level.

One of the first important worlds you’ll need is Namek.

You can find Namek behind Korin’s Tower.

However, reaching the entrance isn’t enough.

You need to complete the Saiyan Invasion Raid before you’re allowed to enter Namek.

You can find the game’s raids at Capsule Corp, so make sure you’ve completed the required raid if the Namek entrance isn’t letting you through.

Once you have the requirement completed, Namek becomes an important part of your progression.

Once you reach around Level 200 and can access Namek, the Cell Raid becomes one of the most useful leveling methods.

At the time covered by the information in this guide, the Cell Raid had a bug that allowed players to repeatedly receive the bonus HP XP, resulting in around 2.5 million XP per completion.

Because of that, the Cell Raid was an extremely strong option for players trying to move through the mid-game.

If the bug is still active, take advantage of it. Game mechanics and bugs can change with updates, so always keep in mind that this particular XP value may not remain the same forever.

Your basic route at this stage is:

Level 200 → Namek → Cell Raid → Continue grinding toward Level 500

Once you’re around Level 500, you can start looking into additional raids, including the Majin Buu Raid.

The Majin Buu Raid can be particularly useful when you first gain access to it, and the harder version can become available around this stage depending on your progression.

You don’t necessarily have to abandon Cell immediately.

Instead, compare the XP you’re getting and choose whichever activity you can complete efficiently.

The goal is always to maximize your XP per run and per minute.

As you progress, you’ll unlock several different worlds.

Knowing where they are can save you a lot of time because some entrances are hidden or require specific conditions.

The main locations covered in this guide are:

• Namek

• Demon Realm

• Sky Kingdom

• The Void

• Beerus’s Planet

• Other World

Each has different requirements, so let’s go through them individually.

Namek is located behind Korin’s Tower.

Before entering, you need to complete the Saiyan Invasion Raid.

Once you’ve completed the raid, you can enter Namek and continue your progression there.

Namek is particularly important because the secret cave leading to The Void is also located here.

The Demon Realm can be found inside a large cave in the snow area.

Travel through the snowy part of the map and look for the large cave.

However, you’ll need to complete the required Demon Realm raid before you can enter.

So if you’ve found the cave but can’t access the world, check that you’ve completed its required raid.

Sky Kingdom is located above the city where you can see the single cloud.

The main requirement for entering Sky Kingdom is reaching Level 200.

Once you’re Level 200, you can access the area and continue exploring its content.

This makes Sky Kingdom one of the worlds you’ll naturally start looking toward around the same time that you’re beginning your mid-game progression.

To find The Void, first travel to Namek.

Once you’re inside Namek, you need to locate the secret cave.

It requires some flying across the map, but once you know where the cave is, getting there becomes much easier.

Inside the cave is a portal.

To enter The Void, you need:

• Level 400

• Completion of the Void Raid

Once you’ve met both requirements, simply walk into the portal and you’ll be teleported to The Void.

Beerus’s Planet becomes available once you reach Level 500.

This is another important progression milestone because the area is part of the route toward the higher-level content.

Once you hit Level 500, start working your way through the content available there and continue pushing toward Level 600.

Other World is an endgame location.

You can find its entrance at the Lookout.

The normal requirements are:

• Level 1,000

• Rebirth 1

There is also another way to qualify if you’re a Pure Being.

Once you meet the requirement, talk to the NPC at the Lookout and you’ll be teleported to Other World.

Because of the Level 1,000 requirement, this is something you should think about much later rather than worrying about it as a new player.

If you want to unlock Kaioken, you’ll need to visit the same general location used for rebirth.

The NPC you need is located in the Sakura Forest.

Once you find him, talk to him and select the option “I do.”

You’ll then be teleported to another location.

After you arrive, simply walk forward until you find the next NPC.

Talk to him and you’ll see two choices.

The first option is for Kaioken.

So if you’re specifically looking for Kaioken, choose the first option.

You can rebirth once you’ve reached at least Level 500.

To start the process, go to the Sakura Forest and find the rebirth NPC.

Talk to him and select “I do.”

You’ll be teleported to another area.

Walk forward and talk to the next NPC.

You’ll see two options:

First option: Kaioken

Second option: Rebirth

Choose the second option if you’re ready to rebirth.

Before doing this, make sure you’re actually ready to restart your level progression. Rebirth is a major progression step, so it’s worth understanding what you’re doing before you confirm it.

If you’re playing as an Android, you’ll also want to know where Dr. Gero is located.

Dr. Gero is found toward the corner of the map, near a mountain.

This is also where you’ll find the Z Capsule NPC.

The easiest way to remember the location is that the two NPCs are very close together.

Once you find the Z Capsule location, look across the nearby area and you’ll find Dr. Gero.

Dr. Gero is especially important for Android players.

You can talk to him to access your Android forms.

So if you’re an Android and you’re wondering where you’re supposed to go for your forms, head to the mountain area in the corner of the map and look for Dr. Gero.

If you’re not playing an Android, you don’t need to prioritize this NPC.

The Z Capsules are located near Dr. Gero.

Head toward the corner of the map and look for the mountain.

You’ll find the Z Capsule NPC in this area.

Talk to the NPC to access the available Z Capsules.

Z Capsules can provide different buffs and nerfs to your character.

This means you shouldn’t simply choose one without reading what it does.

Each capsule tells you its effects, including its advantages and disadvantages.

If you’re building a specific character, take some time to read the descriptions and choose a capsule that actually fits your build.

Some effects may be useful for one playstyle but less useful for another.

If you’ve made mistakes with your stat points, there is a way to reset them.

You need to find the Comics location.

This is where you can reset your stats.

However, there is an important restriction.

You cannot normally reset your stats again after you’ve already used the reset.

So don’t treat the first reset as something you can repeatedly use whenever you change your mind.

Before confirming your reset, think about how you want to distribute your stats.

There is one important exception to the stat reset restriction.

If you’ve already used your normal stat reset, you can use the Dragon Balls to reset your stats again.

Because Dragon Balls can be valuable, I recommend only using them when you’re sure you want to change your build.

If you’re still experimenting with your character, take some time to figure out which stats work best for you before committing to another reset.

Once you reach Level 500, several important parts of the game start opening up.

You can:

• Rebirth

• Access Beerus’s Planet

• Continue into higher-level content

• Use stronger raids

• Start preparing for TOP

At this point, your progression should start shifting away from ordinary quests and toward raids and higher-level activities.

Once you reach around Level 600, you should start looking into the Tournament of Power, also known as TOP.

This is where the XP rewards become extremely valuable.

A normal TOP completion can give around 100 million XP.

That is an enormous jump compared with the XP you were getting from normal early-game quests.

However, you should not jump into TOP with a weak team.

You want people who can actually complete the run reliably.

A good team can make the difference between quickly gaining levels and wasting your time on failed runs.

If you have strong friends, ask them to help you.

The important thing is to make sure the people helping you are actually capable of carrying the activity.

Don’t just assume someone can solo because they say they can.

You want a reliable group that can consistently complete TOP.

If you don’t have friends who are strong enough, look for other players through the Path To Power Discord server and find people who regularly run TOP.

TOP also gives you a wish when you complete it.

If you’re mainly interested in leveling, choose the extra XP reward when it is available.

If you’re more interested in resources, money, Dragon Balls, or other rewards, you can choose according to your goals.

But if you’re trying to reach Level 1,000 quickly, extra XP is the obvious priority.

After completing a few normal TOP runs, you can potentially make a huge amount of progress.

Depending on your XP bonuses and current level, a few successful runs can move you toward around Level 800.

At this point, you should be spending much less time on ordinary quests.

If TOP is giving you massive XP and your team can complete it consistently, keep farming it.

Around Level 800, you can start considering Hard TOP if you have a strong enough team.

You don’t have to wait until exactly Level 1,000, but you need to make sure your party is capable of handling the harder version.

The guide recommends having a large and strong party, especially if you’re still under-leveled.

If your team is small and you’re unsure whether you can complete it, stick with normal TOP until you’re stronger.

Hard TOP can give around 200 million XP per completion.

That makes it one of the best late-game leveling methods.

If you have 2x XP, the rewards can become even better.

The guide states that 2x XP can bring a Hard TOP completion to around 400 million XP, while normal TOP with 2x XP can reach around 200 million XP.

That is why XP boosts are particularly valuable when you’re farming TOP.

If you have a 2x XP bonus, don’t waste it on tiny XP rewards if you can avoid it.

The best time to use an XP multiplier is when you’re doing content that already gives a huge amount of XP.

For example, doubling a TOP reward is much more valuable than doubling a small early-game quest.

If you’re going to activate an XP boost, make sure you have a strong team and can complete multiple high-XP activities while the boost is active.

One of the biggest beginner mistakes is trying to do all of the game’s difficult content alone.

Early quests and bosses are manageable by yourself, but later raids and TOP become much easier when you have a good team.

If you’re struggling with a raid, don’t spend hours trying to force a solo run.

Find stronger players and work together.

The Path To Power community can be especially useful for this because experienced players can help newer players complete raids and TOP runs.

If you want the entire guide reduced to one simple route, follow this:

Complete the recommended quests around you.

Open the Quest menu and filter for Bosses.

Complete boss quests whenever possible.

When you run out of boss quests, complete the highest-XP normal quests you can access.

Start doing raids.

Ask stronger friends or other players for help if necessary.

Continue progressing through the available worlds.

Enter Namek after completing the Saiyan Invasion Raid.

Use the Cell Raid as a major XP source.

Explore other available worlds and content.

Around Level 400, work toward The Void if you’ve completed the Void Raid.

Start using higher-level raids such as the Majin Buu Raid where appropriate.

Visit Beerus’s Planet once you reach Level 500.

Continue grinding until Level 600.

Start farming normal TOP with a strong team.

Choose extra XP from your wish if leveling is your main goal.

Move into Hard TOP if you have a strong enough party.

Use 2x XP whenever possible to maximize your rewards.

Reach Rebirth 1 and continue into the endgame.

You can also access Other World once you meet its requirements.

As a beginner, there are a few locations worth remembering.

Korin’s Tower: Namek is located behind it.

Snow Area: The Demon Realm entrance is inside the large cave.

Sky Kingdom: Look above the city with the single cloud.

Namek Secret Cave: This is where you find the portal to The Void.

Beerus’s Planet: Available at Level 500.

Lookout: This is where you can access Other World.

Sakura Forest: This is where you start the Kaioken and rebirth process.

Corner of the Map: This is where you can find the Z Capsules and Dr. Gero.

Comics: This is where you can reset your stats.

Capsule Corp: A useful place for finding raids.

The most important thing I would tell a new player is to always move toward the next major XP source.

Don’t spend hours doing low-level quests once you’ve unlocked raids.

Don’t keep grinding weaker raids when you have access to something significantly better.

And don’t be afraid to ask other players for help.

Your progression is basically about unlocking better content and then using that content to reach the next milestone.

Start with quests.

At Level 20, focus on bosses.

At Level 100, start using raids.

At Level 200, make use of Namek and the Cell Raid.

At Level 500, unlock Beerus’s Planet and consider rebirthing.

At Level 600, start farming normal TOP.

Around Level 800, move to Hard TOP if you have a strong team.

Then keep grinding toward Level 1,000 and beyond.

At the same time, remember the important utility locations: Sakura Forest for Kaioken and rebirth, the mountain area in the corner of the map for Z Capsules and Dr. Gero, and Comics for your stat reset.

Once you understand this progression, DBZ Path To Power becomes much easier to navigate. You always have a clear idea of what you should be working toward next, rather than wasting time wondering where to go or what to grind.
