DOORS Secret Subfloor Entity Guide

In this post, I’ll be taking a look at a secret entity in the DOORS Subfloor that has some seriously strange movement behavior. At first, it might look like a normal entity, but once you watch how it moves around the player, things get much more interesting.
The entity appears to move in an almost inverted or mirrored way compared to the player. This makes its behavior difficult to predict, especially when you’re trying to move around it or lead it toward a specific location.
I’ll explain what we can see from the footage, how its movement works, and why its pathfinding makes it much harder to trap or get stuck in certain areas.

DOORS Secret Subfloor Entity Guide
The footage begins with the players trying to figure out what this mysterious entity is doing.
At first, they’re discussing getting the entity into the fire escape, while also trying to understand exactly what they’re dealing with.
It quickly becomes clear that this isn’t simply an entity standing still or following a basic movement pattern.
The Entity Moves Differently From You
One of the strangest things about this entity is the way it moves when the player moves.

While watching the footage, you can see that the entity seems to move in an inverted direction compared with the player.
When the player changes their movement, the entity responds in a way that looks almost opposite to what you’d normally expect.
That’s what makes the encounter so confusing. You’re not just dealing with an enemy that follows directly behind you. Its movement appears to be based on its own unusual behavior.
Try Moving Backwards
The players quickly discover that moving backwards can affect how the entity behaves.
They tell each other to keep going backwards while watching the entity’s movement.

This makes it easier to observe the relationship between the player’s movement and the entity’s movement.
However, the entity doesn’t simply mirror every movement perfectly.
The Entity Has Its Own Pathfinding
The biggest detail revealed in the footage is that the entity appears to have its own pathfinding system.
This is important because it means you can’t necessarily force the entity into a bad position and expect it to remain there.
Even if you try to maneuver it into a particular area or get it stuck somewhere, its pathfinding can allow it to find another route.

In other words, the entity isn’t completely dependent on the player’s movement.
Why the Pathfinding Matters
This makes the entity much harder to manipulate than a basic enemy.
You might think you’ve successfully trapped it by positioning yourself or using the environment in a certain way, but the entity can potentially calculate another path and continue moving.
That also explains why the players are surprised when they realize it has its own pathfinding.
Instead of simply getting stuck on an obstacle, it can navigate around the environment and continue pursuing its intended path.

This secret Subfloor entity is particularly interesting because its behavior seems to go beyond simply chasing the player.
Its inverted movement, combined with its own pathfinding, makes it difficult to predict and potentially difficult to trap.
The footage doesn’t reveal everything about the entity yet, so there may be more mechanics that we haven’t seen. But based on what’s shown, I’d definitely be careful if you encounter it in the Subfloor.
The biggest thing to remember is that you shouldn’t assume you can easily get this entity stuck somewhere. It appears to have its own pathfinding, allowing it to navigate around obstacles and keep moving.
