DOORS Secret Subfloor (The Stairwell)

In this post, I’ll be taking a look at the secret Stairwell in the DOORS Subfloor. This hidden area gives us a glimpse at another part of the Subfloor that you normally wouldn’t expect to reach during a regular run.

The footage shows the players discovering a stairwell and then heading downward through a previously unseen section. Things get especially interesting when they realize just how far below they have traveled and start wondering where the area actually leads.

I’ll walk through what happens in the footage, how the Stairwell is accessed, what you can find inside, and the interesting details the players notice while exploring this secret area.

The footage starts with the players exploring the area and dealing with some unexpected obstacles.

At one point, they notice that there is a trap nearby. Shortly afterward, an alarm clock is spotted, adding another strange element to the area.

Things quickly become chaotic, and the players start rushing forward after whatever just happened.

While moving through the area, the players suddenly react to something they see or hear.

One of them asks:

“What the hell was that?”

It appears that someone has been knocked down during the encounter, with the team immediately trying to continue the run.

The other player even attempts to revive their teammate while telling them to keep going.

This shows that the Stairwell isn’t necessarily just a peaceful secret area. There can still be dangers waiting for you while you’re exploring it.

After the initial encounter, the players decide to investigate where a particular badge can be obtained.

They discover that the badge is connected to using the Stairwell.

This is where the secret area really begins.

Instead of continuing through the normal route, the players head into the stairwell and start going downward.

As the players descend, they notice that the environment is taking them much deeper than expected.

At one point, they look toward a door and realize just how far down they have gone.

They even mention being below 200 and then below 150, suggesting that the Stairwell takes them to a significantly lower part of the Subfloor.

This makes the area feel much more mysterious because you aren’t simply walking down a normal staircase. You’re traveling deep into the Subfloor.

While going down, the players notice a door in the stairwell.

This immediately catches their attention because they aren’t sure where it leads.

The surrounding area is also unfamiliar, which makes the discovery even more interesting.

As they continue exploring, they’re clearly trying to understand what this hidden location is and why it exists.

Another interesting detail is that the players notice they have their flashlight back.

This suggests that entering the Stairwell or reaching this particular section may affect the items or equipment available to the player.

Having the flashlight is especially useful because the deeper sections of the Subfloor can be extremely dark, making it difficult to see what’s ahead without additional lighting.

Based on the footage, the Stairwell appears to be a secret route into a deeper section of the DOORS Subfloor.

The players access it while investigating a badge, and the staircase takes them downward through several levels before reaching another door and unfamiliar area.

The exact purpose of the entire Stairwell isn’t completely clear from the footage, but it definitely appears to be connected to hidden content.

If you’re trying to investigate this yourself, the main thing to look for is the Stairwell.

Once you find the appropriate route, you’ll need to head downward instead of continuing along the regular path.

Keep an eye out for:

• The stairwell entrance

• The route leading downward

• The mysterious door

• Traps

• The alarm clock

• Changes in your surroundings

• The location connected to the badge

The deeper you go, the more unfamiliar the environment becomes, so make sure you’re prepared before exploring it.

The Stairwell is one of the more interesting secrets shown in the DOORS Subfloor because it gives players access to a much deeper area that isn’t immediately obvious.

From traps and alarm clocks to the mysterious door and the enormous descent below the normal areas, there’s clearly more going on here than just a simple staircase.

The footage also suggests that the Stairwell is connected to a badge, making it worth investigating if you’re trying to discover all of the Subfloor’s hidden content.

If you come across the Stairwell during your run, don’t rush past it. Take some time to explore the route, check the surrounding areas, and see how far down it actually takes you.
