If you’re just getting started with Fish an Anime RNG, there are quite a few systems to understand, from redeeming codes and rebirthing to farming gems, improving your characters, fishing, and managing your storage. Whenever you have enough food available, invest it into the characters you’re actively using. There’s little benefit in leaving your main characters underleveled when you have resources available to improve them.

If you get a particularly strong character, prioritize feeding that character rather than spreading all of your food across units you aren’t using.

Another important progression system is the Index.

The more characters you unlock, the more rewards you can earn from completing your collection.

So, as you obtain new characters, make sure you’re working toward completing your Index rather than ignoring duplicate or lower-rarity characters entirely.

The Index can become an important source of gems as your collection grows.

One of the more useful ways to generate gems is the Lemon Stand.

According to the guide, you unlock the Lemon Stand at 5 rebirths for $1 million.

Once you’ve unlocked it, customers can pay you gems while you’re doing other activities.

A particularly useful tip is to place your rarest character on the Lemon Stand to increase its combination multiplier. The guide mentions a 15x combination.

This makes the Lemon Stand something worth working toward if you’re trying to build up a reliable supply of gems.

Gems are extremely useful because they can be spent on various game passes and other useful features.

There are several ways to obtain them.

Once you unlock the Lemon Stand at 5 rebirths, customers can provide gems while you continue playing.

Try to use your rarest character there when possible to maximize the available combination bonus.

Events can also provide gems.

Events can therefore be worth checking whenever they’re available.

Completing your Index and unlocking more characters can also contribute to your gem income.

Because of that, if you’re trying to AFK fish, it’s better to stay inside a server rather than simply leaving the game.

If you’re planning to AFK fish, make sure you enable Auto Fish.

Once Auto Fish is active, you can leave your character fishing in the server while you work on other things.

Storage becomes increasingly important as you collect more characters and items.

Every rebirth adds 50 storage slots, so rebirthing naturally helps solve some of your storage problems as you progress.

There is also an Infinite Backpack option, which can provide much more convenience if you’re constantly running out of space.

For free-to-play players, though, your rebirths are an important source of additional storage.

You can also trade characters with other players.

To trade, interact with another player and send a trade request. Once both players accept, you can add the characters you want to exchange and confirm the trade.

Trading can be particularly useful if you’re looking for a specific character that you haven’t been lucky enough to obtain yourself.

Just make sure you understand the value of what you’re trading before confirming an exchange.

The game also has different pairs that you can use as part of your progression.

If you’re unfamiliar with the available combinations, it’s worth checking the in-game information or wiki rather than trying to figure everything out through trial and error.

Knowing which characters work together can help you make better decisions about which units to keep and which ones you can safely trade or replace.

Events are another major part of the game.

Different events can introduce new characters, rewards, and ways to earn resources, so I recommend checking what’s currently active whenever you log in.

Some events may also provide valuable gem rewards, making them especially useful if you’re saving toward game passes or other upgrades.

If there’s one resource you should pay attention to beyond your basic cash income, it’s gems.

Gems can be used in the Gem Store to purchase game passes and other useful benefits.

That means your gem income becomes increasingly important as you progress.

Instead of spending every gem immediately, I’d recommend thinking about what you’re saving toward and prioritizing upgrades that will improve your overall progression.

The main thing I would focus on as a beginner is progression rather than trying to get everything immediately.

Redeem your codes first, use the free units to establish an income, and start rebirthing as frequently as possible. As your rebirth count increases, you’ll unlock more features, gain additional storage, and eventually gain access to the Lemon Stand.

From there, start taking gem farming seriously. Complete your Index, participate in events, claim daily rewards, use the Lemon Stand, and stay online if you’re AFK fishing.

Once you understand how these systems work together, Fish an Anime RNG becomes much easier to progress through, and you’ll have a much better idea of where to spend your time and resources.
