How to Complete Loki’s Quest in Grand Blue

If you are trying to unlock the Trickster fighting style in Grand Blue, you will eventually have to deal with Loki. His quest is not as straightforward as simply talking to a trainer and learning a new fighting style, so it can be easy to get confused about what you are supposed to do next.

The first part of the process requires you to farm two specific skills from Aaru the Hoarder in Anchor Town. Once you have them, you can start working through Loki’s requirements and continue the Trickster progression.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through the Loki quest step by step, including the skills you need, where to find Loki, what to do in Clown Town, and the Gold requirement you need to complete the final part.

Before you spend too much time looking for Loki, I recommend getting the required skills first.

You need to obtain two skills from Aaru the Hoarder, who can be found in Anchor Town.

The two skills are:

• Pocket Sun

Both skills reportedly have around a 10% drop chance, so you should expect to defeat Aaru multiple times before getting both.

I recommend farming for both skills before properly starting Loki’s quest. That way, you will not have to keep traveling back to Anchor Town halfway through the progression.

Once you have both skills, check your skill interface to make sure they have actually been added before moving on.

After getting Pickpocket and Pocket Sun, your next step is to find Loki.

Interact with him and pay attention to the dialogue and requirements he gives you.

Loki’s progression is not simply a one-click unlock. You have to complete the objectives he provides before you can move on to the later part of the Trickster progression.

Because of that, make sure you follow the active quest objectives instead of assuming that getting the two skills is enough.

Loki’s quest consists of several requirements, so you need to work through them in order.

The general progression looks like this:

• Get Pickpocket from Aaru the Hoarder.

• Get Pocket Sun from Aaru.

• Find and speak to Loki.

• Complete the requirements Loki gives you.

• Continue following his quest objectives.

• Travel to Clown Town when instructed.

• Find Loki near the Ferris wheel.

• Speak to Loki again.

• Complete the final requirement and pay the required Gold.

The important thing is not to skip a requirement just because you have already obtained the two skills.

After finishing the earlier part of the quest, you will eventually need to travel to Clown Town.

This is where Loki can be found again.

Once you arrive, head toward the Ferris wheel. Loki is located in the upper section of the area, meaning you will need to climb up instead of only searching around the ground.

Here is the route I recommend:

• Enter Clown Town.

• Make your way toward the Ferris wheel.

• Look around the structures near the wheel.

• Start climbing toward the higher platforms.

• Continue upward.

• Find Loki near the upper section.

• Talk to him to continue the quest.

If you cannot find him immediately, check above and around the Ferris wheel rather than staying at ground level.

Once you return to Loki after completing the earlier requirements, he will check your progression.

The final interaction in the provided quest route requires 1,000 Gold.

So, make sure you have enough Gold before traveling back to Clown Town.

You do not want to make the entire trip only to discover that you are short on currency and have to leave again to farm more.
