How to Get Ace Rooster in Grow a Chicken Fighter

The Ace Rooster is one of the rarest Secret chickens you can get in Grow a Chicken Fighter. You cannot hatch it from the regular eggs, so getting it requires you to follow a specific egg chain and build up your Trick Egg farming.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through the entire process, starting with the Catalyst Hen, then showing you how to produce Trick Eggs and use the chickens you hatch to make the process easier.

Ace Rooster has an extremely low hatch chance, so you should be prepared to farm plenty of Trick Eggs. Once you understand the route, though, you can make the process much more efficient instead of relying entirely on random eggs.

The Ace Rooster is a Secret Chicken that can only be hatched from the Trick Egg, which was introduced in Update 3.

The Trick Egg has five possible chickens:

• Domino Chick — Rare

• Checkmate Hen — Epic

• Puzzle Hen — Legendary

• High Roller Rooster — Cosmic

• Ace Rooster — Secret

The important part is that Ace Rooster has a less-than-1% chance of hatching from a Trick Egg.

Because the odds are so low, don’t expect to get Ace Rooster from your first few eggs. You may need to hatch a large number of Trick Eggs before the Secret finally appears.

The good news is that you can create a farming route that makes getting Trick Eggs considerably easier.

Your first major objective is obtaining the Catalyst Hen.

Catalyst Hen is also a Secret Chicken, and you can hatch it from the Colossus Egg.

The problem is that Catalyst Hen also has a less-than-1% hatch chance, so this is going to be the first major grind.

You need to keep farming Colossus Eggs and hatching them until Catalyst Hen eventually appears.

Once you get one, do not sell or get rid of it. Keep your Catalyst Hen and place it in your Coop or Incubator because this chicken is what starts your Trick Egg farming route.

Once Catalyst Hen is active in your Coop or Incubator, it produces an egg every 10 minutes.

Its egg production chances are:

• 98% — Colossus Egg

• 2% — Trick Egg

So, most of the time you’ll receive another Colossus Egg, but there is a 2% chance that the egg will be a Trick Egg.

This is the part where patience becomes important.

Keep Catalyst Hen active, collect its eggs, and continue checking until you finally receive a Trick Egg.

Once you finally get a Trick Egg, hatch it.

You can receive one of five different chickens:

• Domino Chick

• Checkmate Hen

• Puzzle Hen

• High Roller Rooster

• Ace Rooster

Obviously, the ideal result is Ace Rooster, but because its chance is less than 1%, you will most likely receive one of the other four chickens first.

That’s completely fine.

Your first Trick Egg chicken can actually help you build a better farming setup.

This is where the process becomes much more interesting.

After hatching your first Trick Egg, you can place one of the chickens you obtained into your Coop or Incubator and use it to help produce additional Trick Eggs.

For example, even the Rare Domino Chick can produce Trick Eggs, with a 10% chance.

That’s significantly better than the 2% Trick Egg chance from Catalyst Hen.

So, once you obtain one of these chickens, you should keep it rather than immediately selling or fusing it.

Your goal is to gradually improve your ability to produce Trick Eggs.

If you’re starting from nothing, I recommend following this order:

• Farm Colossus Eggs.

• Keep hatching them until you get Catalyst Hen.

• Place Catalyst Hen in your Coop or Incubator.

• Wait for Catalyst Hen to produce a Trick Egg.

• Hatch the Trick Egg.

• Keep the Trick Egg chicken you obtain.

• Use that chicken to improve your Trick Egg production.

• Continue producing and hatching Trick Eggs.

• Repeat until you finally obtain Ace Rooster.

This is much better than treating every egg as a completely separate grind because you’re building toward a more reliable Trick Egg farming setup.

The first four are useful stepping stones, but Ace Rooster is the main target because it is the Secret chicken with the extremely low hatch chance.

The biggest hurdle at the beginning is getting Catalyst Hen.

Since Catalyst Hen has a less-than-1% chance from Colossus Eggs, you should expect this part to take some time. Once you get it, however, you have access to a consistent way of generating Trick Eggs.

Catalyst Hen produces an egg every 10 minutes, with a 2% chance of that egg being a Trick Egg. Keep it active and collect every egg you can.

Once you hatch your first Trick Egg, keep the resulting chicken. Don’t rush to sell or fuse it. These chickens can help you produce additional Trick Eggs, and some of them have considerably better chances than Catalyst Hen.

For example, the Domino Chick can give you a 10% Trick Egg chance, which can make the grind much faster.

Once you have a good Trick Egg farming setup, the remaining process is straightforward.

Keep producing Trick Eggs, hatch them, and hope for the Secret result.

Since Ace Rooster has a less-than-1% chance, getting unlucky is completely normal. You might get it relatively early, or you might have to go through a large number of Trick Eggs before seeing it.

The key is to avoid wasting your early Trick Egg chickens and instead use them to improve your farming efficiency.

Colossus Eggs → Catalyst Hen → Trick Egg → Trick Egg Chicken → More Trick Eggs → Ace Rooster
