How to Get All 35 New Badges in DOORS The Archives

Published 30 Aug 2026, 4:29 am · 12 min read

The long-awaited Archives Update is finally here in DOORS, and it has added a huge number of new badges to collect. Some are straightforward, while others are secret, hidden, or require you to complete specific challenges in the Archives and Stairwell.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to get the new badges, including the secret badges, entity-related badges, item-based badges, and the more difficult challenge badges. I’ll also explain the currently known methods for the badges that are harder to figure out.

A few of these badges may be affected by future patches, especially some of the tricks mentioned below. So, if you are trying to complete your badge collection, I recommend going through the guide carefully and attempting the requirements while they are still working.

How to Get All 35 New Badges in DOORS The Archives

Who Am I?

Who Am I? is one of the secret badges added with the Archives Update. It does not count toward normal progression, but it is currently one of the rarer badges because many players do not know how to obtain it.

To get it, you need to reach S50. You cannot skip Sector S during your run.

Once you reach S50, look for a sub-room that leads to the secret area. Inside, you will see two paths:

• Archival Storage

• Stairwell

Go to the Archival Storage side and look for a particular file. Interacting with the file causes your character to remember part of their past, and after this interaction, you will receive the Who Am I? badge.

The badge also gives us some interesting hints about the character’s past, although it does not reveal everything.

It’s Still You

For the It’s Still You badge, you need to find a mirror inside the Archives.

Stand in front of the mirror and stare at yourself for a while. You need to keep looking at it rather than immediately walking away.

Eventually, the mirror will break and a new entity will appear. When this happens, you should receive the It’s Still You badge.

Make sure you stare at the mirror long enough, as simply looking at it briefly may not trigger the event.

Smashing Deal

The Smashing Deal badge is connected to the new Portrait entity.

When you encounter Portrait, get close to it while holding an item. Portrait will mimic you and copy what you are holding.

Your goal is to get the item from Portrait’s hand. Doing this causes Portrait to break and duplicates the item you were using.

Once you successfully perform this interaction, you will receive the Smashing Deal badge.

Fire Friends

For Fire Friends, you need to find the special fish food item in the Archives.

The item can only be used with the fish tanks found in the Archives. Once you find it, use the fish food on the fish.

After feeding the fish, the Fire Friends badge will unlock.

Pizza Time

The Pizza Time badge is very simple compared with some of the other Archives badges.

You need to fill your entire inventory with pizzas.

Once your inventory is completely filled with pizzas, the badge should unlock.

Girl Dinner and Enlightened

Two badges that can currently be obtained using a useful inventory trick are Girl Dinner and Enlightened.

The intended requirements involve filling your inventory with specific types of items, but you can make this considerably easier by using the Baby Hands modifier.

Girl Dinner

First, enable Baby Hands in the modifiers. This reduces your inventory size to just one slot.

Before starting your run, buy Vitamins and a light-source item from the pre-run shop. A lighter can be used as the light source.

Once you are in the game, drop your items and pick them up one at a time.

This trick can allow you to satisfy the inventory requirement despite having the reduced inventory size.

The intended requirement for Girl Dinner is to have a full inventory of edible items.

Enlightened

You can use essentially the same trick for Enlightened.

Enable Baby Hands, then purchase light-source items before entering the run.

Drop and pick up the items one by one to work around the reduced inventory capacity.

The intended requirement is to have a full inventory of light-source items.

Because this appears to be an unintended method, it could be changed or patched by the developers, so don’t be surprised if it stops working after an update.

Annihilation

The Annihilation badge requires you to use a Crucifix against Portrait.

First, enter the Archives and find a mirror. Stare at the mirror until the Portrait entity appears.

You then need to get Portrait back into the Hotel area. An effective way to prepare for this is to start from the beginning of the Hotel so you have a chance to obtain a Crucifix.

After leaving the Archives and returning to the Hotel, use the Crucifix on Portrait.

There can be a problem where Portrait does not immediately spawn after you return to the Hotel. If this happens, try waiting inside a Hotel room rather than continuously running around.

The entity may eventually spawn while you are waiting, allowing you to use the Crucifix and complete the badge.

Because the Archives update is still receiving patches, this badge’s behavior may change.

Bad Luck

The Bad Luck badge is one of the less certain badges from the update.

The method described here is based on the clues connected to Portrait and its journal, rather than a completely confirmed method.

Portrait’s journal mentions that using the Crucifix on the entity is possible if you lead it back to an area where the blue light is present. It also mentions that Portrait drops a Pocket Mirror, which it apparently wants to shatter.

Because the journal specifically mentions bad luck and the Pocket Mirror, the likely method is:

• Bring Portrait back to the Hotel.

• Use a Crucifix on Portrait.

• Obtain the Pocket Mirror.

• Shatter the Pocket Mirror.

This is the suspected method for getting Bad Luck, although it may be worth waiting for further confirmation or patches if the badge does not unlock.

Gold Standards

For Gold Standards, you need to find an item called the Honeypot.

The Honeypot can be found in the Archives and may also appear in the Hotel.

Once you find it, use the Honeypot.

Using the item gives you a large amount of gold and should also unlock the Gold Standards badge.

Forgotten Memories

The Forgotten Memories badge requires you to enter the Archives in a specific way.

Simply entering the Archives from the Lobby will not work.

Instead, you need to reach the Archives manually through the Hotel.

At Door 160, look for a sub-room. Behind a closet, you can find a broken section of wall that leads toward additional sub-rooms and eventually to the Archives entrance.

Before attempting this, make sure you bring:

• 2 Lockpicks

• 1 Skeleton Key

Once you enter the Archives through this route, you can work toward obtaining Forgotten Memories.

Most Valuable Employee

The Most Valuable Employee badge requires you to complete the Archives mail-room challenge.

You need to successfully organize the mail while Honcho is chasing you.

This challenge requires both speed and accuracy. If you make mistakes or take too long, you may not receive the badge.

Try to stay focused on the mail-room task and organize everything as quickly and accurately as possible.

Star Employee

There was initially some uncertainty about the Star Employee badge because it did not appear on the leaked list of badges in the same way as the others.

However, it was later confirmed that the badge is real and is a secret badge.

To get it, bring a bottle of Starlight to the Archives.

When you bring it to Honcho, he will take it from you. After that, you need to complete the Honcho mail-room minigame perfectly.

Successfully completing the challenge after giving Honcho the Starlight will reward you with the Star Employee badge.

Because the challenge requires a perfect performance, this is one of the more difficult secret badges to obtain.

Basic Archives Badges

Z50

The Z50 badge is obtained by completing the Archives.

Simply make it all the way to the end of the Archives to receive the badge.

Emergency Exit

For the Emergency Exit badge, you need to use one of the emergency exits in the Archives.

Once you successfully use an emergency exit and reach the Hotel from the Archives, the badge will unlock.

Archives Entity Badges

Several new badges are connected directly to surviving entities and hazards found throughout the Archives.

Perfect Memory

To obtain Perfect Memory, you need to survive the Forget Me Not entity, also known as the flower entity.

The main challenge is identifying and checking for anomalies.

Pay close attention to your surroundings and carefully look for anything that does not belong. Successfully surviving the encounter will reward you with the badge.

Witness Protection

The Witness Protection badge is earned by surviving the Alma entity.

There are two ways to survive Alma.

The first method is to avoid looking at her when she appears. If you do not look at her, she should eventually disappear after about a minute.

The second method involves watching the red outlines and keeping them within the beige-colored area.

If you manage the encounter correctly, you will survive and receive Witness Protection.

Now Served

For Now Served, you need to survive the Teller entity.

There is an important detail here: the badge will not count unless Teller actually attacks you.

When the ticket number reaches the required point, do not immediately give Teller the ticket.

Instead, hold onto the ticket.

Teller will become aggressive and run toward you to take it. Let him take the ticket from your hand. He will damage you slightly, but if you survive the attack, the badge should unlock.

Limitless Paper

The Limitless Paper badge is obtained by surviving the Scribbles entity.

Simply survive the encounter successfully and you should receive the badge.

Firewall

The Firewall badge requires you to survive the Ransom entity, also known as A90.

The easiest method is to avoid getting hit.

If Ransom does attack you, you need to successfully complete the minigame required to survive the encounter.

Survive the encounter and the Firewall badge will be awarded.

Shock Hazard

The Shock Hazard badge is tied to the electricity hazard in the Archives.

Simply survive the electrical hazard to unlock the badge.

Carpet Burn

For Carpet Burn, you need to survive the Bash entity.

Successfully survive the encounter and the badge will unlock.

Crowd Watching

The Crowd Watching badge is connected to the new Drones entity.

You need to survive the stampede of drones.

Once you successfully get through the encounter, you will receive the badge.

Unwanted Dupe Glitch

To get Unwanted Dupe Glitch, find the printer in the Archives.

Place any item into the printer and print it.

The act of printing an item will unlock the badge.

Quick Purchase

The Quick Purchase badge is one of the simpler ones.

You only need to purchase the Shake Light.

Once you buy the item, you should receive the badge.

Stairwell Badges

The Archives Update also added several badges connected to the secret subfloor of the Mines known as the Stairwell.

Rage Room

The Rage Room badge requires you to disable the Noise entity.

First, find the TV associated with the TV entity.

Take the TV set and bring it near the exit area. Then push it down the stairs.

The TV will break, which disables Noise and rewards you with the Rage Room badge.

Paparazzi

For the Paparazzi badge, you need to scare away the Creek entity when it is about to grab you from behind.

One useful method is to wait inside the red machine.

Keep watching the screen, and eventually you should see a hand coming from the left side.

When you see the hand, quickly press the back button.

This will scare Creek away and should unlock the Paparazzi badge.

Fried Mushroom

The Fried Mushroom badge requires you to find a fire alarm in the Stairwell.

Use the fire alarm to set the area on fire, including the area covered by the Melled entity.

Once you successfully trigger the required event, the badge will unlock.

Bubble Popping

For Bubble Popping, you need to interact with the Stem entity.

Keep throwing the required interaction at the entity continuously until you manage to pop it.

Successfully popping Stem will reward you with the badge.

Paperclip Challenge

The Paperclip Challenge badge is fairly straightforward.

Take any item from the Stairwell and depot it.

Once you successfully depot an item, the badge should unlock.

Storage Wars

Storage Wars is a much more time-consuming challenge.

The goal is to depot enough items at once to receive 1,000 gold in a single transaction.

The easiest way to prepare is to use the shopping cart.

Take the shopping cart through multiple floors and collect as many useful items as you can.

Keep filling the cart until you believe the total value will be enough to give you 1,000 gold when everything is deposited together.

Once you are ready, depot the entire shopping cart at once.

If the transaction gives you the required 1,000 gold in one go, you will receive the Storage Wars badge.

This can take quite a while, so don’t expect to complete it immediately.

Hello Walker

The Hello Walker badge is connected to the Cobbler entity.

Reach the end of the Stairwell subfloor and encounter Cobbler.

Cobbler is harmless, so you don’t need to worry about fighting or escaping from him.

Simply meeting him at the end of the Stairwell should give you the Hello Walker badge.

Going Down and Going Up

There are two simple badges related to entering and completing the Stairwell subfloor:

• Going Down — enter the Stairwell subfloor.

• Going Up — complete the Stairwell subfloor and return from it.

These are among the easiest badges in the update because they are directly connected to progressing through the Stairwell.

Redacted

The Redacted badge is currently one of the biggest mysteries in the Archives Update.

Unlike the secret badges, this badge is part of progression, meaning players are expected to eventually figure out how to obtain it.

The description says:

Watch and create a new entity.

At the moment, the exact method is unknown.

One possibility is that it is connected to something inside the Stairwell, potentially involving the TV screen or another interaction with the Cobbler entity.

However, this is only speculation. There is currently no confirmed method in the information available here.

If you come across a reliable method for Redacted, it is worth testing because this badge could become much easier once the intended interaction is discovered.

The Archives Update brings a large collection of new badges covering several different types of challenges.

You have badges for:

• Completing the Archives

• Entering and completing the Stairwell

• Surviving new entities

• Using special items

• Completing inventory challenges

• Solving secret interactions

• Completing the Honcho mail-room minigame

• Using the Emergency Exit

• Completing special Stairwell challenges

• Discovering hidden areas and secrets

Some badges are extremely easy once you know their requirements, while others require specific items, difficult encounters, or a little experimentation.

The biggest things I recommend focusing on first are the straightforward item and survival badges. After that, work toward the secret badges and longer challenges such as Storage Wars, Most Valuable Employee, and Star Employee.

Keep in mind that the Archives Update is still new, so some badge requirements and tricks can change as the developers release patches. In particular, methods involving inventory modifiers, Portrait, and some of the currently unknown badges may change over time.
