How to Get All Fighting Styles in Grand Blue – Locations

Talk to him and you will find that he specializes in the Brawler fighting style. If you meet the requirements, you can learn the style from him.

The exact progression requirements may depend on your current progress, so make sure you have advanced far enough before trying to unlock it.

The next fighting style is Swordsman.

For this one, head to the area near the pond. Once you get there, go upward and look for an NPC named Shirou.

Shirou is the trainer you need for the Swordsman fighting style. When you talk to him, you can learn the style if you meet the required progression.

In the video, the Swordsman style is already unlocked, including its skills, so this is a straightforward trainer to find if you are looking to add it to your collection.

If you have unlocked more than one fighting style, you don’t have to stick with the same one forever.

To change your fighting style, head to the Wardrobe in Beginner Town and interact with it by pressing E.

The Wardrobe is also useful for managing other things, including your fruits if you have fruit storage. Once you have multiple fighting styles, you can use this area to select and switch between them.

So, if you have just unlocked a new style and cannot figure out how to equip it, check the Wardrobe first.

The Trickster is a little different from the other fighting styles because it is a secret fighting style. You need to complete some progression and collect specific requirements before you can unlock it.

Once you have finished his required quests, set sail to Clown Town.

When you arrive in Clown Town, head straight toward the Ferris wheel. From there, you need to make your way upward.

Keep climbing around the Ferris wheel area until you reach the upper section. Loki can be found up there.

Once you find him, talk to Loki and follow his dialogue. If you already have all the requirements, he will eventually ask you for gold to unlock the next part of the progression.

In the video, the final requirement shown is 1,000 gold, but you also need specific skills before Loki’s dialogue can progress.

There are two important skills you need for the Trickster progression:

• Pickpocket

• Pocket Sun

These are obtained from a boss in the early part of the game.

The boss you need to farm is Aaru the Hoarder in Anchor Town.

If you are already familiar with the game, you may recognize Aaru as one of the first bosses you encounter. You will need to defeat him repeatedly because the required skills have a relatively low drop chance.

According to the video, Pickpocket and Pocket Sun have around a 10% drop chance from Aaru the Hoarder.

So, if you don’t get them on your first few attempts, don’t worry. Just keep farming the boss until both skills drop.

Once you have both skills, continue Loki’s progression and return to him in Clown Town to work toward unlocking Trickster.
