Let me walk you through this properly, because this weapon isn’t something you just pick up randomly. It’s one of those progression-based rewards where the game makes you earn it step by step, and if you miss even one thing, you’ll get stuck.
So if you’ve been running around Atlantis wondering why the door isn’t opening—this is exactly what you’re missing.
Step 1: Start With the First Statue (Helmet Quest)
When you enter the Atlantis / Ancient City area in Fisch, you’ll notice multiple statues.
The first one gives you a simple objective—but it’s where everything begins:
Find 5 misplaced swords.
Now the game doesn’t clearly guide you, so here’s how it actually works:
- The swords are scattered across the cave/ruins
- Most are visible, not hidden too deeply
- One is stuck in a statue, others are along paths and edges
Once you collect all 5:
- Go back to the weapon rack
- Place all swords there
- A hidden door opens
Inside that room:
- Pick up the Royal Helmet
- Return it to the statue
That completes the first puzzle.
Step 2: Complete the Shield Fragment Quest
Now move to the second statue.
This one is slightly trickier because it mixes exploration + fishing.
You need 5 shield fragments, but they come from different sources:
Easy Fragments (2 Pieces)
- Found lying around near statues and pillars
- Just explore carefully—you’ll spot them
Fishing Fragments (3 Pieces)
This is where players get confused.
- 1 fragment → can be caught normally
- 2 fragments → require War Surge (Red Pool)
Important:
- If the pool isn’t active, you literally cannot get all fragments
- So don’t waste time fishing endlessly—wait for the event
Once you have all 5:
- Return to the statue
- Turn them in
This unlocks access to the next area.
Step 3: Unlock the Weapon Room
After both statue quests:
- The previously opened room (helmet room) now becomes important again
- A path leads you to where the weapon is stored
You’ll now be able to access Bellona’s War Axe location
But you’re still not done yet.
Step 4: Complete the Full Bestiary
This is the step most people underestimate.
Even after unlocking the area, you cannot buy the weapon unless you:
- Complete the entire bestiary for this zone
That means:
- Catch all required fish
- Including rare/event-based ones
Only after this:
- You can finally purchase the weapon
- Cost: 5,000,000 (in-game currency)
Bellona’s War Axe Stats
Here’s why this weapon is actually worth the grind:
- Lure Speed: 65%
- Luck: 150%
- Resilience: 40%
- Max Weight: 1,000,000 kg
But the real twist?
It has a dual-catch mechanic
- You can hook two fish at once
- Requires controlling two bars simultaneously
Which means:
- Higher reward potential
- But also much harder to use
If both fish move differently… it gets chaotic fast.
Bellona’s War Axe isn’t just another rod—it’s more like a skill-check weapon.
You go through:
- Exploration
- Puzzle solving
- Event-based fishing
- Full bestiary grind
And in return, you get one of the most unique mechanics in the game.
If you’re aiming for endgame efficiency or just want something different from normal rods—this one is absolutely worth it.
