As you earn money, start upgrading your farms and Guts units.

Your Guts units will handle the early enemies, while the farms give you the money you need for the later part of the trial.

There’s no need to spend everything as soon as you get it. Try to balance your farm upgrades with your Guts upgrades so that you have enough damage to survive while still building your economy.

One useful part of this setup is Smith’s Silver Spear.

Use the Silver Spear on your Guts unit to give it additional damage. This becomes particularly useful when you’re preparing for the final boss.
