The Heart Geode is basically the centerpiece reward of the Abyss Valentine’s event. It isn’t something you randomly stumble into while diving — you have to intentionally grind event currency, travel to a specific area, and then open it through a timed process. And since it’s event-exclusive, missing it means losing access to several permanent artifacts.
So if you’re trying to farm it efficiently before the event ends, here’s exactly how the system works.
Step 1 — Reach the Valentine’s Event Area
First, you need to travel to the Forgotten Deep Dome.
From there, head north until you reach the Valentine’s event zone. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see:
The Valentine’s signposts, themed decorations, and a special event stage area.
This is where all Heart Geode farming begins.
Step 2 — Buy the Heart Geode
Inside the event zone, find the Cupcake Shop.
This shop sells Heart Geodes, but they aren’t purchased with regular currency.
Each geode costs:
10 Beat Tickets
Beat Tickets are event currency earned by completing Valentine event activities and quests.
Because of this, farming tickets efficiently is the most important part of getting multiple geodes.
Step 3 — Opening the Geode
After buying one, you can’t open it immediately in the event area.
You must return to:
Verilia on the Starter Island
There, you can start the opening process.
Opening takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds, after which you receive one artifact reward.
Heart Geode Rewards and Drop Rates
Each geode gives one of three permanent artifacts, each with different drop chances.
Teddy Bear Artifact (Most Common — about 63%)
This artifact focuses on survivability.
It increases oxygen capacity significantly and reduces movement penalties while diving. Because of that, it’s extremely helpful for deep-zone exploration where oxygen management becomes a constant problem.
It’s usually the first artifact most players get repeatedly while opening geodes.
Love Gift Artifact (Uncommon — about 35%)
This artifact is more focused on mobility and carrying capacity.
It increases movement speed underwater, boosts weight capacity for hauling loot, and even flips a negative oxygen modifier into a small positive bonus.
It’s especially useful for players who focus on farming large quantities of resources in longer runs.
Heart of Love Artifact (Rare — about 1%)
This is the rarest drop and the main reason players grind geodes heavily.
It improves cooldown reduction, increases oxygen bonuses, and reduces damage penalties. Because of its balanced boosts, it’s considered one of the best all-around artifacts for advanced underwater combat and rapid ability use.
Most players will need many geodes before seeing this one.
Best Way to Farm Beat Tickets Quickly
To get geodes efficiently, you need a steady supply of Beat Tickets.
The fastest methods usually involve:
Completing boss-related event tasks
Running Post Bird and similar repeatable event quests
Focusing on activities that reward multiple tickets per run
Spending tickets on geodes is generally better than buying temporary potions, since artifacts provide permanent benefits.
Travel to the Forgotten Deep Dome and locate the Valentine’s event area. Buy Heart Geodes from the Cupcake Shop using Beat Tickets. Return to Verilia on the Starter Island to open them. Wait for the opening timer to finish and receive one permanent artifact reward.
