How to Get Ulquiorra in Rogue Piece Full Quest Guide

If you are trying to unlock Ulquiorra in Rogue Piece, there is a full questline you need to complete before you can get everything he has to offer. The latest update adds Ulquiorra along with new abilities, transformations, and a few requirements that can take some time to finish.

The first part of the quest is fairly simple, but things get more complicated when you want to unlock his F move and Segunda Etapa. You will need the Rancor race, several quest items, boss drops, and plenty of Ulquiorra boss kills.

In this guide, I will walk you through the entire process from starting the quest to unlocking Segunda Etapa. I will also explain where to find the important NPCs, how to get Vastocar, and what you need to do for Ulquiorra’s stronger abilities.

The Ulquiorra quest starts on Hueco Mundo Island.

Once you arrive, look for the NPC located behind the Stark NPC. This NPC can be surprisingly easy to miss because there isn’t an obvious marker showing exactly where you need to go.

Before you can start the quest, there is one important requirement:

• Rancor race

If you already have the Rancor race, head to Hueco Mundo Island and interact with the NPC behind Stark to begin the questline.

The first objective is to collect four Empty Hearts.

These items can spawn in different locations, so you will need to explore the possible spawn points and collect four of them.

This part isn’t particularly difficult, but finding all four can take some time if you don’t know where to look. I recommend checking the different spawn locations carefully instead of rushing through the island.

Once you have collected all four Empty Hearts, you can continue with the next part of the Ulquiorra quest.

Next, you need to defeat 50 Mercuriel Arrancars.

The main idea here is to keep farming Arrancars until you complete the required progression. While doing this, you can also work toward the chance for Mercielago to spawn.

The process is basically:

• Find the Arrancars.

• Defeat them repeatedly.

• Continue farming until you reach the required amount.

• Complete the Mercielago-related progression.

• Move on to the next quest.

If your character already has good damage, this part shouldn’t take too long.

After completing the Arrancar objective, you will need to find Orihime and bring her to Aizen.

Orihime can appear in several different locations, including:

• Soul Society

• Starter Island

• Sandor

• Forge Island

Because she can appear in different places, you may need to check multiple locations before finding her.

Once you locate Orihime, interact with her and then take her to Aizen to complete this part of the quest.

After completing the objective, you will unlock the main Ulquiorra moveset.

Completing the initial questline gives you most of Ulquiorra’s moves.

The main exception is the F move, which requires additional progression.

The base moveset already looks pretty good, especially if you enjoy flashy abilities. The attacks come with plenty of visual effects, although you may notice some camera or animation issues with certain moves.

Still, the base version gives you a good starting point, and there is more to unlock if you want the complete Ulquiorra kit.

Getting the F move requires another quest.

This time, you need to find the Acquaintance NPC.

There is an important requirement before you can progress, though. You must have the Vastocar race.

If you currently have Rancor, don’t worry. You can evolve it into Vastocar by farming the Ulquiorra boss and obtaining the required Essence.

To evolve into Vastocar, you first need to farm the Ulquiorra boss.

The boss can drop the required Essence, which you can then use to evolve your Rancor race.

The progression is simple:

• Start with Rancor.

• Farm the Ulquiorra boss.

• Get the required Essence.

• Use the Essence on your Rancor.

• Evolve into Vastocar.

• Return to the Acquaintance NPC.

Once you have become a Vastocar, you can continue with the next part of the Ulquiorra questline.

After becoming Vastocar, you will have additional objectives to complete.

Most of this section revolves around the Ulquiorra boss. You will need to defeat him multiple times and collect the required drops to continue progressing.

This is probably where most of your time will be spent, especially if you are unlucky with the boss drops.

I recommend making sure you have a strong build before starting this grind. The faster you can defeat Ulquiorra, the less time you will spend farming the required items.

One of the first major rewards from the additional questline is Resurrección, which serves as Ulquiorra’s F move.

The ability provides a 15% damage increase and lasts for around 60 seconds.

There is one catch: your health needs to be at 50% or lower before you can activate it.

So, if you try to use Resurrección while your HP is too high, you won’t be able to activate it.

The basic effects are:

• 15% damage increase

• 60-second duration

• Requires 50% HP or lower

Because of the HP requirement, you need to be a little careful about when you activate it. Going into a boss fight already damaged can be risky, so make sure you have a plan for surviving after activating the transformation.

Once you have Resurrección, you can start working toward Segunda Etapa.

For this part, you need to obtain a Segunda Etapa Fragment from the Ulquiorra boss.

This means there is even more boss farming involved. Keep defeating Ulquiorra until you get the required fragment.

Once you have the fragment, use it to complete the next quest requirement and continue toward the final stage.

After completing the required quest, you still need to activate Segunda Etapa correctly.

First, enter your Resurrección form.

Once you activate it, you will notice a gauge appearing in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

You need to fill this gauge completely.

After the gauge reaches maximum, press F again to activate Segunda Etapa.

So the basic process is:

• Activate Resurrección.

• Fill the gauge.

• Wait until it reaches maximum.

• Press F again.

• Enter Segunda Etapa.

Once the transformation is active, you can use it for the final boss requirement.

The final part of the questline requires you to defeat the Ulquiorra boss while using Segunda Etapa.

Make sure you activate the transformation before finishing the boss fight. If you defeat Ulquiorra without the required form active, you may not get credit for the objective.

Once you defeat the boss while using Segunda Etapa, you should be able to complete the final part of the questline.

Segunda Etapa is stronger than the basic Resurrección transformation.

It gives you a 30% damage increase and lasts for around 52 seconds.

That makes it particularly useful for boss fights where you need to deal as much damage as possible during a short window.

The downside is that you have to go through the entire activation process first. You need to enter Resurrección, fill the gauge, and then activate Segunda Etapa.

Still, the extra damage makes the effort worthwhile if you are planning to use Ulquiorra as one of your main builds.

If you want a quick checklist, here is the full progression:

• Get the Rancor race.

• Travel to Hueco Mundo Island.

• Find the NPC behind Stark.

• Collect 4 Empty Hearts.

• Defeat the required Mercuriel Arrancars.

• Complete the Mercielago-related progression.

• Find Orihime.

• Bring Orihime to Aizen.

• Unlock the base Ulquiorra moveset.

• Farm Ulquiorra for Essence.

• Use the Essence to become Vastocar.

• Find the Acquaintance NPC.

• Complete the additional Ulquiorra quests.

• Unlock Resurrección.

• Farm the Segunda Etapa Fragment.

• Continue the Segunda Etapa quest.

• Activate Segunda Etapa.

• Defeat Ulquiorra while using Segunda Etapa.

• Complete the questline.

I think Ulquiorra is a pretty interesting addition to Rogue Piece, especially if you enjoy characters with multiple transformation stages.

The base moveset is already strong and has some flashy VFX, but the real appeal comes from Resurrección and Segunda Etapa. Getting the full kit does require quite a bit of farming, though, so you should be prepared to fight Ulquiorra several times.

Resurrección gives you a 15% damage boost, while Segunda Etapa increases that to 30%. The biggest inconvenience is the activation requirement, particularly needing your HP at 50% or lower for Resurrección.

If you don’t mind the grind, I think it is worth going through the full questline. Once you have everything unlocked, Ulquiorra has a much more complete moveset and becomes considerably more useful for dealing damage.

The Ulquiorra questline in Rogue Piece starts fairly simply but becomes much more grind-heavy once you start working toward the F move and Segunda Etapa.

You first need to have the Rancor race, find the NPC on Hueco Mundo Island, collect four Empty Hearts, defeat the required Arrancars, and complete the Orihime and Aizen objective. After that, you can unlock the base Ulquiorra moveset.

For the complete kit, you will need to farm the Ulquiorra boss for Essence, evolve into Vastocar, complete the Acquaintance questline, and eventually obtain the Segunda Etapa Fragment.

Once you finish everything, you can use Resurrección and Segunda Etapa to significantly boost your damage. The grind is definitely longer than the initial Ulquiorra quest, but if you want the complete character and stronger transformation, it is worth putting in the time.
