How to Handle Passenger Needs in Bumpy Flight Guide

Published 29 Aug 2026, 4:13 pm · 7 min read

Taking care of passengers is one of the most important jobs in Bumpy Flight. Flying the aircraft is obviously a major part of the game, but you also need to keep an eye on the people inside the plane and respond when they need something.

Passengers can ask for water, burgers, medicine, or even help when they become angry. These tasks are usually simple, but they can become much harder when you’re also dealing with turbulence, storms, or an aircraft emergency.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to handle the different passenger requests, where to find the items they need, and how I recommend managing passengers when several problems happen at once.

How to Handle Passenger Needs in Bumpy Flight Guide

Once passengers board the aircraft and take their seats, they can start making different requests.

Your job is to respond to those requests and keep them satisfied throughout the flight.

The main passenger needs include:

• Water

• Burgers

• Medicine

• Help with angry passengers

Some requests are very easy because the required items are close to the cockpit, while others require you to use the Order Terminal or interact directly with the passenger.

If you’re playing with friends, I’d recommend having one person focus on passengers while another player stays in the cockpit and handles the aircraft.

How to Give Passengers Water

When a passenger asks for water, you’ll need to get a bottle from the refrigerator.

The refrigerator is located near the cockpit door, so head there and pick up a bottle.

Once you have the water, take it back to the passenger who requested it and give it to them.

There’s one important thing to remember: you can only carry one bottle at a time.

Because of this, you’ll need to make separate trips if multiple passengers are asking for water.

Water Request Steps

• Find the passenger requesting water.

• Go to the refrigerator near the cockpit.

• Pick up a bottle of water.

• Return to the passenger.

• Give them the water.

If several passengers need drinks, try to remember who requested each one so you don’t waste time going back and forth.

How to Give Passengers Burgers

Passengers can also ask for a burger.

Just like water, burgers can be found in the refrigerator near the cockpit.

Go to the fridge, pick up the burger, and take it back to the passenger who requested it.

You can only carry one burger at a time, so you’ll need to make another trip if multiple passengers want food.

Burger Request Steps

The process is simple:

• Find the passenger requesting a burger.

• Walk to the refrigerator.

• Pick up the burger.

• Return to the passenger.

• Give them the food.

Seat Passengers Near the Front

One thing that can make this process easier is placing passengers closer to the front of the aircraft.

Since the refrigerator is near the cockpit, having passengers closer to that area means you won’t have to walk as far every time someone asks for food or water.

This becomes especially useful when several passengers start making requests during the same flight.

How to Help a Sick Passenger

Passengers can also become sick during the flight.

When this happens, you’ll need to get medicine for them.

The medicine can be obtained through the Order Terminal, which is located near the refrigerator and cockpit.

Use the terminal to order the required medicine, then take it to the sick passenger.

Medicine Request Steps

When someone becomes sick:

• Find the sick passenger.

• Go to the Order Terminal.

• Order the required medicine.

• Pick it up.

• Take it to the passenger.

• Give them the medicine.

I’d recommend learning where the Order Terminal is before taking off. If you already know where it is, you’ll be able to react much faster when someone suddenly becomes sick.

How to Calm an Angry Passenger

An angry passenger is slightly different from the other requests.

You don’t need to find an item for them. Instead, you need to interact with the passenger and answer their questions.

Approach the angry passenger and interact with them. They’ll ask you questions related to air travel.

You need to answer two questions correctly to calm them down.

Once you’ve answered both questions, the passenger should become calmer and you can get back to your other duties.

If you’re dealing with an emergency at the same time, make sure it’s safe to leave your current position before going to help the angry passenger.

Best Place to Seat Passengers

Where you place passengers can make your job much easier.

Since the refrigerator and Order Terminal are located near the cockpit, putting passengers toward the front of the plane can reduce the amount of time you spend walking.

This is particularly useful because you can only carry one bottle of water or one burger at a time.

During boarding, I recommend placing passengers closer to the front whenever possible. You’ll still have to deliver their requests individually, but you’ll spend less time traveling across the aircraft.

How to Handle Passengers During Emergencies

Passenger requests become much more difficult when something serious happens to the aircraft.

For example, a passenger might ask for a burger at exactly the same time that the plane experiences an engine failure.

In situations like this, the aircraft should always come first.

If the plane is losing altitude or experiencing a serious emergency, focus on stabilizing the aircraft before dealing with a normal passenger request.

A passenger can usually wait a little longer for a burger or bottle of water. An engine failure, however, may require immediate attention.

Best Team Setup for Passenger Needs

Playing with friends makes passenger management much easier because everyone can focus on a specific responsibility.

A simple setup could look like this:

Pilot

The pilot should focus on controlling the aircraft and monitoring its condition.

During serious emergencies, the pilot should remain focused on keeping the plane stable.

Engineer

The engineer handles aircraft repairs, including problems with the engine and power system.

This allows the pilot to remain in the cockpit instead of having to leave the controls.

Cabin Crew

The cabin crew can focus entirely on passengers.

They can deliver water and burgers, get medicine, and calm angry passengers.

Support Player

An additional player can help retrieve food, water, medicine, or other items while everyone else handles their primary responsibilities.

This division of jobs makes the entire flight much easier to manage.

How to Prepare Before Takeoff

You can’t predict exactly what passengers will request, but you can prepare by learning where the important areas are.

Before taking off, make sure you know the locations of:

• Refrigerator

• Order Terminal

• Passenger seats

• Cockpit

• Power supply

• Aircraft wings

Knowing the plane’s layout saves valuable time when something unexpected happens.

It’s also worth preparing useful items before the flight begins. A wrench, for example, can be extremely important during aircraft emergencies.

Passenger Request Priority

You won’t always be able to deal with every request immediately.

If several things happen at once, prioritize them based on how dangerous they are to the flight.

A good priority order is:

• Engine failure — Deal with it immediately.

• Major aircraft emergency — Stabilize the aircraft.

• Power outage — Repair the power system when necessary.

• Sick passenger — Handle after urgent aircraft problems.

• Angry passenger — Deal with them when it’s safe.

• Water request — Can usually wait briefly.

• Burger request — Can usually wait briefly.

The exact situation can vary, but the main rule is simple: don’t risk the entire flight just to deliver someone’s food.

Quick Passenger Guide

Here’s a quick reference for what to do when each request appears:

Taking care of passengers is an important part of Bumpy Flight, and it becomes much easier once you know where everything is.

Water and burgers come from the refrigerator near the cockpit, while medicine can be ordered through the Order Terminal. Angry passengers are handled by interacting with them and correctly answering two questions.

The most important thing is knowing when to prioritize the aircraft over the passengers. If you’re dealing with an engine failure, storm, or another serious emergency, focus on keeping the plane safe first.

If you’re playing with friends, splitting the responsibilities between the pilot, engineer, and cabin crew is one of the easiest ways to keep everything under control. With good passenger positioning and a little preparation before takeoff, you can handle requests much faster and keep everyone happy throughout the flight.
