How to Maximize Your Stat Gain in Ryujin Roblox

If you’re trying to maximize your stat gains in Ryujin, the key isn’t just training for hours. You can make your training much more efficient by stacking different boosts before you start your grind. In this guide, I’ll show you the methods I use before training so you can get the most stats possible from your time.
The biggest idea is simple: complete your available stat-gain and XP-boost activities first, stack the useful buffs, and then start your main training session.
Start With Bosses
One of the first things I recommend doing is checking the bosses.
Bosses can provide useful rewards, and some of them have a chance to drop an XP boost.
In the example from the video, the player chooses to fight Other Nico because he is considered one of the easier bosses to defeat and has a chance of dropping an XP boost.
The important thing to understand is that this method is drop-based.
You aren’t guaranteed to receive the boost every time you defeat the boss.
In the video, the boss was defeated but the XP boost didn’t drop. That’s why I wouldn’t build your entire stat-gain strategy around boss drops.

Instead, think of boss farming as an extra opportunity to get another boost before you begin training.
Boss XP Boosts Are RNG-Based
The boss method works for the different bosses, but the reward isn’t guaranteed.
You can defeat a boss and receive the XP boost, or you might get something else.
Because of that, I wouldn’t spend a huge amount of time repeatedly fighting bosses just because you’re hoping for the boost.
If you’re already able to defeat a boss quickly, it’s worth checking.

But if the boss takes a long time to defeat, you’re probably better off moving on to the more reliable stat-gain methods.
Complete the Shrine
The Shrine is one of the most important activities you should complete before your main training session.
At the Shrine, you fight your Inner Spirit.
The fight is basically you against another version of yourself, so it works similarly to a normal boss fight.
If you’re comfortable with boss fights, this shouldn’t be too difficult.

Once you defeat your Inner Spirit, you receive a very useful boost.
The Shrine Gives a 20% Stat Gain Boost
The Shrine reward is particularly valuable because it provides a 20% stat gain boost for 60 minutes.
That’s a long enough duration to make it extremely useful for your training session.
This is one of the boosts I would definitely prioritize before starting a long grind.
The longer you plan to train, the more valuable this type of timed stat-gain boost becomes.

Stack the Shrine Boost With Other Bonuses
The Shrine becomes even better when you combine it with other bonuses.
The video mentions having Perfected Genes, which provides another stat-gain bonus.
With the Shrine boost and additional bonuses such as Perfected Genes, you can significantly increase the amount of stats you’re getting from your training.
The exact total depends on the bonuses you currently have, but the basic strategy is what matters:
Don’t train with your bonuses sitting unused. Stack them before your main session.

Take Advantage of 2X XP Events
Another major opportunity is a 2X XP weekend or event.
If you know a 2X XP event is active, it’s a great time to combine it with your other boosts.
For example, you can complete your Shrine activity first, activate your other available boosts, and then start your training while the bonuses are active.
This can make a long training session much more productive.
If you’re planning to macro or train for several hours, timing your boosts around an XP event can make a noticeable difference.

Complete Your Daily Quests
There are also daily activities you can complete for additional boosts.
The video mentions quests that can be completed up to 10 times throughout the day.
These are worth doing because they provide another source of XP or stat-gain boosts without requiring you to spend your entire session fighting bosses.
There are also cooking-related activities, but the player in the video doesn’t prioritize those because they don’t feel worth the time.
For a more efficient routine, focus on the activities that give you the strongest rewards for the amount of time they take.
Complete the Food Delivery Quest
One of the simple daily activities involves delivering food.
You basically accept the task, bring the required food to the NPC, and turn it in.
The reward includes another XP boost.
The boost mentioned in the video lasts for around 15 minutes and provides a 15% boost.
That’s useful, but because the duration is shorter than the Shrine boost, you want to think carefully about when you activate it.
Save the Shorter Boosts for Your Main Training
This is one of the most important parts of maximizing your stat gains.
Don’t activate every boost as soon as you receive it.
Instead, try to organize them around your main training session.
For example, if you have a 60-minute Shrine boost and a 15-minute food-related boost, you don’t want to waste half of the shorter boost while you’re traveling around the map.
Get everything prepared first.
Then activate the shorter-duration bonuses when you’re ready to start training.
This lets you squeeze as much value as possible out of the limited timer.
Complete Your Summer Token Activities
Another useful source of bonuses comes from the Summer Token NPC.
The NPC can be found around the Docks area.
You can exchange Summer Tokens for different rewards, including coins, dishes, and other items.
Some of the available rewards can provide additional stat-related benefits.
Use Summer Tokens for Stat Boosts
One of the useful options available from the Summer Token NPC is a 10% stat gain stack for 30 tokens.
There is also a 10% Muscle Boost, which can be particularly useful if you’re focusing on Muscle.
So if your goal is maximizing your stats, don’t automatically spend all of your Summer Tokens on random rewards.
Check the exchange options and see which boosts are useful for your build.
Get Summer Tokens From Raids
The video mentions that you can get around 50 Summer Tokens from your daily raids.
Because raids are already something you’re likely doing as part of your normal progression, this gives you a consistent way to build up your token supply.
If you have tokens saved up, you can exchange them for the stat-related rewards you need.
This is another reason why you shouldn’t let your daily activities go to waste.
Prioritize the Stat-Boosting Rewards
The Summer Token shop has several options, including dishes and other rewards.
The player in the video personally prefers using the tokens for dishes, especially when they have a large number of coins saved up.
However, if your main goal is specifically maximizing stat gain, look at the stat-related boosts first.
A 10% stat gain boost can be much more valuable during a long training session than a reward that doesn’t directly improve your training.
Visit the Docks for Another Boost
There is another useful NPC around the Docks area that can provide another boost.
This one is a little less straightforward because you have to interact with the NPC correctly.
The video explains that you need to essentially confront him rather than giving an incorrect or joking response.
If you respond incorrectly, the NPC may shut down the interaction and give you nothing.
So if you’re trying to get the reward, pay attention to the dialogue and choose the appropriate response.
The Docks NPC Has a Long Cooldown
The Docks NPC is different from some of the daily activities because it has a much longer cooldown.
The video mentions a 24-hour cooldown.
The exact duration of the boost wasn’t confirmed in the video, with the creator estimating it at around 20-30 minutes.
Because of the long cooldown, this isn’t something you can repeatedly farm throughout the day.
Instead, treat it as another bonus you can collect when it’s available and then add it to your larger training routine.
Prepare Everything Before Training
This is the most important overall strategy.
Before you start your main training session, go through your available activities and collect every useful boost you can.
My preparation order would look something like:
Bosses → Shrine → Daily quests → Summer Token rewards → Docks NPC → Activate your boosts → Start training
You don’t necessarily have to follow that exact order every time, but the important thing is to finish the activities first and activate the short-duration buffs when you’re ready to train.
Turn On Your Food XP Before Long Training Sessions
Another useful trick is to make sure your food-related XP system is active before you begin a long training session.
The player in the video turns this on before starting a macro so that the available food can continue contributing XP while they train.
This can be particularly useful during very long sessions.
Instead of manually stopping your training every few minutes to deal with food, you can prepare everything beforehand and let the system continue working while you’re training.
Prepare Enough Food
If you’re planning to train for many hours, make sure you have enough food available.
The video describes leaving the system running for around 11 hours and still having enough food to continue training.
Obviously, your results will depend on how much food you have and how your setup works, but the general lesson is important:
Prepare your resources before starting a long training session.
You don’t want to start a long grind only to run out of something halfway through.
Build a Pre-Training Routine
If you’re serious about maximizing your stats, I recommend turning all of this into a routine.
Before every major training session, check your bosses.
Then complete the Shrine.
After that, complete your daily boost quests.
Check your Summer Tokens and exchange them for useful stat boosts.
Visit the Docks NPC if its cooldown is finished.
Make sure your food and other XP-related systems are ready.
Then activate your timed boosts and begin training.
Once you get into this habit, you’ll stop wasting your boost timers while traveling or doing unrelated activities.
