Spin isn’t something you just pick up casually. It’s one of those abilities that forces you to actually go through multiple steps, and if you mess up at certain points, you’ll end up repeating parts of the grind.
If you follow this properly though, you’ll get Spin without wasting time.
Important Requirement Before You Start
Before doing anything:
- Your character must be under age 40
If you’re above that:
- Gyro won’t teach you Spin
- You’ll get locked out of progression
Also worth noting:
- Spin likely does not stack with Vampire, so choose wisely before committing.
Step 1 – Find the Spin Location
First, you need to locate a Spin spot (often referred to as a spin wall or ground marker).
- Found around the desert area
- Multiple spawn locations exist
- You may need to wait a few minutes for it to appear
If nothing shows up:
- Switch spots
- Try another location
Once found:
- Interact with it to progress
Step 2 – Find Gyro
Next, you need to locate Gyro NPC.
Common spawn areas include:
- Near the swamp
- Around the church
Once you find him:
- Talk to him
- He’ll check your requirements
Possible outcomes:
- If you’re too old → you’re blocked
- If eligible → he gives you the next task
Step 3 – Get a Bare Knuckle Kill Streak (Red Corner)
This is where most players struggle.
You need to:
- Go to Red Corner Fight Club
- Get a 15–20 kill streak
- Use only fists (no weapons, no guns)
Important rules:
- You must land the final hit with fists
- Dying resets your streak
Tip
Do this with:
- A friend
- Or an alternate account
Public lobbies can get chaotic and slow you down.
Step 4 – Return to Gyro
After completing the streak:
- Go back and talk to Gyro again
Now he’ll give you the next requirement:
- You need a Duelist Mark
Step 5 – Find and Kill the Duelist NPC
This is the most annoying part.
You need to:
- Roam the map
- Look for an NPC with a special title (Duelist / True Duelist)
How to identify:
- Red text or unique name above their head
Once you find it:
- Kill the NPC
- This grants you the required mark
There’s no fixed spawn, so it’s mostly exploration and luck.
Step 6 – Return to Gyro Again
Head back to Gyro one more time.
Now he’ll:
- Acknowledge your progress
- Ask for a money payment
The exact cost varies (commonly reported):
- Around 15k – 30k currency
Pay the amount → you unlock Spin
Spin isn’t hard — it’s just annoying if you don’t know what you’re doing.
The biggest time-wasters are:
- Searching for Spin locations
- Losing kill streaks
- Finding the Duelist NPC
Once you get past those, the rest is straightforward.
