Jujutsu Zero Ten Shadows Part 2 Guide – Unlock All New Nodes
Published 2 Aug 2026, 5:12 am · 10 min read
Ten Shadows was already one of the more involved techniques in Jujutsu Zero, and Part 2 definitely doesn’t make the progression any lighter. There are new Shikigami upgrades, Divine Dog Totality, Shadow Chimera Garden, major Mahoraga upgrades, and a pile of materials you’ll need to farm along the way.
The good news is that you don’t need to blindly grind everything.
Most of the important new materials overlap between the same few activities, so if you farm in the right order, you can work toward several Ten Shadows nodes at once. I’ll walk you through what you need, where the materials come from, and which upgrades are worth targeting first.

Jujutsu Zero Ten Shadows Part 2 Guide – Unlock All New Nodes
Before worrying about the new nodes, make sure you actually have access to them.
You need to own Ten Shadows and have the previous nodes completed far enough to reach the new Shiro, Mahoraga, and Shikigami paths.
If your previous Ten Shadows tree is already finished, you’re ready to start farming Part 2.
To unlock all of the new main nodes covered here, you’ll need:
That list looks pretty rough at first, especially the 44 Elephant Tusks, but you can collect several of these materials while working on the same content.

How to Get Ten Shadows Part 2 Materials
Your main grind is going to be the Megumi Raid.
Completing the raid rewards Chimera Crates, and those crates contain several materials needed for the new Ten Shadows nodes.
There’s an important distinction here: the materials aren’t simply dropping directly from Megumi.
You need to complete the raid and then open your Chimera Crates.
The Megumi fight itself changes as you progress through it. You initially fight Megumi normally, but once he reaches around 75% HP, you’ll have to deal with his Shikigami before you can continue damaging him.

Bring Megumi down to approximately 10% HP and things get considerably more serious because Mahoraga appears as the final boss.
Finish the raid, collect your crates, and then it’s time to hope the RNG is feeling generous.
Chimera Crate Drop Rates
Here are the important drop rates mentioned for Chimera Crates:
You’ll also find other useful rewards including Catalysts, Cursed Essence, Vows, and Index Boosters.
Elephant Tusks aren’t too terrible at 10.8%, especially considering how many you need. The real headache is likely going to be Garden Hearts.

And I wouldn’t personally rely on Chimera Crates for your Domain Fragments.
At only 0.1%, you’re better off using the game’s other regular Domain Fragment sources whenever possible instead of expecting three of them to conveniently fall out of your Chimera Crates.
How to Get Silicores
You’ll need nine Silicores if your goal is completing every new node.
Silicores are rare drops from Shikigami summoned at the Shadow Altar.
Rather than worrying about which Shikigami looks impressive, I’d prioritize whichever one you can summon and defeat quickly. You’re farming a drop here, so faster clears mean more attempts.

Keep summoning and defeating Shikigami until you’ve accumulated nine Silicores.
There’s another reason to spend some time here.
You also need:
• 2 Dark Fur
• 2 Light Fur
Farm Kuro and Shiro while collecting your Silicores so you’re simultaneously preparing the materials needed for Divine Dog Totality.

How to Get Ten Shadows Extras
The other material you’re going to see repeatedly is Ten Shadows Extras.
These come from obtaining additional copies of Ten Shadows.
You’ll need five Ten Shadows Extras to finish all the new nodes covered in Part 2.
That’s potentially a pretty substantial grind depending on your luck.
Trading is also an option for missing materials. If you’re drowning in one resource but can’t get the last material you need, trading may save considerably more time than continuing to roll or farm endlessly.

How to Unlock Max Elephant
I’d start with Max Elephant, particularly if you’re coming into Part 2 without a huge stockpile of materials.
Why?
The first node costs only:
1 Elephant Tusk
That’s enough to unlock Max Elephant itself.
It already comes with an automatic attack, but this is only the beginning. You’ll need to progress further down its tree to unlock its full moveset and strongest bonuses.
How to Unlock Falling Calamity
The second Max Elephant node gives you Falling Calamity.
Unlike its automatic attack, Falling Calamity is a skill you manually activate while Max Elephant is summoned.
You’ll need:
• 3 Elephant Tusks
• 1 Purified Tusk
Once you’ve unlocked this, you have considerably more control over what Max Elephant contributes during a fight.
Max Elephant Health and Duration Upgrade
The third node is less flashy but very useful.
It doubles Max Elephant’s health and duration, allowing the Shikigami to remain active much longer while making it harder for enemies to remove.
The cost is:
• 15 Elephant Tusks
• 1 Purified Tusk
This is where the Elephant Tusk grind really starts becoming noticeable.
How to Unlock Flood Burst
Continue down the tree and you’ll reach Flood Burst, Max Elephant’s second automatic attack.
You’ll need:
• 25 Elephant Tusks
• 2 Purified Tusks
Once Flood Burst is unlocked, Max Elephant has its complete three-skill setup:
Two automatic attacks + Falling Calamity as your manually controlled ability.
It’s expensive, but this is where Max Elephant finally gets its full offensive kit.
Max Elephant Final Upgrade
The last Max Elephant node doesn’t require more tusks.
Instead, you’ll need:
1 Ten Shadows Extra
This final upgrade provides a pretty serious collection of bonuses.
You receive 10% Health Amplification, while Max Elephant gets:
• 50% increased damage
• 30% cooldown reduction
• Double health
• 50% increased duration
So if you’ve already invested all those tusks into Elephant, finishing this node makes a lot of sense.
Total Max Elephant Cost
Completing the entire Max Elephant branch requires:
44 Elephant Tusks + 4 Purified Tusks + 1 Ten Shadows Extra
How to Unlock Divine Dog Totality
Now we get to one of the more interesting additions: Divine Dog Totality.
Find the new Twin Calamity node connected to your Divine Dog path.
It requires:
• 1 Ten Shadows Extra
• 1 Silicore
• 2 Dark Fur
• 2 Light Fur
Unlocking the node isn’t quite the end of it, though.
You can’t simply summon one Divine Dog and expect Totality to appear.
You need to summon both Shiro and Kuro.
Once both are present, they’ll fuse together and create Divine Dog Totality.
Totality then replaces the original Shiro and Kuro abilities with its own three-skill setup consisting of two player-controlled attacks and one automatic attack.
That’s why farming Shiro and Kuro while hunting for Silicores earlier is worthwhile—you’ll already be making progress toward the fur requirements.
How to Unlock Shadow Chimera Garden Domain
Yes, Ten Shadows finally gets its new Domain Expansion: Shadow Chimera Garden.
The first Shadow Garden node costs:
• 3 Garden Hearts
• 1 Silicore
• 3 Domain Fragments
The Garden Hearts are likely to be your annoying requirement here because they have only a 0.8% chance of appearing from Chimera Crates.
As mentioned earlier, don’t depend entirely on the crate’s tiny 0.1% Domain Fragment chance. Use other available Domain Fragment sources to finish that portion of the requirement.
Once you’ve got everything, you can unlock Shadow Chimera Garden.
What Does Shadow Chimera Garden Do?
Shadow Chimera Garden works as an open-map Domain.
Rather than dragging everyone into a completely separate closed arena, the Domain activates around your character.
While you’re inside Shadow Chimera Garden, you receive:
• 50% Ten Shadows Cursed Technique Amplification
• 50% Critical Rate
• 50% Cooldown Reduction
• 50% Cursed Energy Regeneration
Those are enormous bonuses for a Ten Shadows build.
The cooldown reduction becomes especially nasty when you’ve already got multiple Shikigami active and attacking alongside you.
Shadow Chimera Garden Duration Upgrade
There’s one more node connected to the Domain.
This increases Shadow Chimera Garden’s duration by 50%.
You’ll need:
• 1 Ten Shadows Extra
• 2 Silicores
That makes the total cost of completing the Shadow Chimera Garden path:
3 Garden Hearts + 3 Domain Fragments + 3 Silicores + 1 Ten Shadows Extra
Considering how strong the Domain’s buffs are, extending its duration is absolutely something I’d work toward rather than stopping immediately after the initial unlock.
How to Unlock Mahoraga Focus
Now for the upgrade a lot of Ten Shadows players are probably here for.
Open your Mahoraga path and continue until you reach its new seventh node.
This unlocks Mahoraga Focus.
You’ll need:
• 1 Ten Shadows Extra
• 2 Silicores
Once you’ve unlocked it, you can use the Focus Switcher NPC to swap between the normal and focused versions of Mahoraga.
And Focus changes the way Mahoraga works quite dramatically.
What Does Mahoraga Focus Do?
With Mahoraga Focus active, your regular player abilities are replaced by Mahoraga’s abilities.
In other words, you’re getting direct control over Mahoraga’s attacks rather than treating it purely like another summoned ally.
This gives you access to abilities including:
Divine Barrage
and
World Cutting Slash
There’s another useful change happening behind the scenes.
NPCs will target Mahoraga instead of your character, and they’ll be capable of detecting Mahoraga from a greater distance.
That becomes particularly important when you unlock the next node.
How to Unlock Mahoraga Adaptation
The final new Mahoraga node is Adaptation.
It costs:
• 1 Ten Shadows Extra
• 3 Silicores
After unlocking Adaptation, attacks against Mahoraga begin filling its adaptation bar.
It takes three hits to fill the bar, and then the fourth hit triggers Adaptation.
Once it activates, Mahoraga becomes immune to the NPC that triggered the adaptation.
But that’s only half of what makes this upgrade so strong.
That same NPC also starts taking 30% additional damage from every source.
So you’re simultaneously removing that enemy’s ability to hurt Mahoraga and making the target substantially easier for everyone to damage.
Why Mahoraga Focus and Adaptation Work So Well Together
These two nodes were clearly made to complement each other.
Remember that Mahoraga Focus encourages NPCs to target Mahoraga instead of you.
That’s exactly what Adaptation wants.
Enemies attack Mahoraga, those attacks fill the adaptation bar, and eventually Adaptation triggers.
Mahoraga then becomes immune to that particular NPC while the enemy takes 30% more damage.
You can continue controlling Mahoraga through Focus while taking advantage of that vulnerability.
Total Mahoraga Upgrade Cost
Completing both of these new Mahoraga nodes requires:
2 Ten Shadows Extras + 5 Silicores
If Mahoraga is the main reason you’re playing Ten Shadows, these should be very high on your priority list.
How Shadow Teleport Works
There’s another nice addition that isn’t really part of the huge material grind: Shadow Teleport.
It lets you choose a location on the map and travel there through the shadows.
The maximum range is 1,000 studs.
Ten Shadows also received its own Super Dash and stamina-bar color overrides, giving the technique some additional visual identity alongside all the actual combat additions.
Don’t Throw Away Your Adaptive Cores
While opening all those Chimera Crates, there’s one material I’d strongly recommend keeping even though it isn’t part of the main node requirements:
Adaptive Cores.
They have a 1.6% Chimera Crate drop chance.
You’ll need three if you want to craft the new Special Grade Divine Will accessory.
The complete recipe is:
Take those materials to the Smelter to craft Divine Will.
This is another reason farming Megumi Raid is efficient. Chimera Crates can give you Adaptive Cores, Cursed Essence and Catalysts while you’re simultaneously farming the materials for your Ten Shadows tree.
Fastest Order to Unlock the New Ten Shadows Nodes
If your goal is getting the important abilities first rather than completing the tree neatly from one side to another, I’d approach it like this.
Start with Max Elephant’s first node.
It costs only one Elephant Tusk, so there’s very little reason to sit on that material when you can immediately unlock another Shikigami.
Next, go after Divine Dog Totality if you already have—or are close to getting—the required Dark Fur and Light Fur.
From there, I’d start putting resources toward:
Mahoraga Focus → Mahoraga Adaptation
These two upgrades have excellent synergy and fundamentally change how you can use Mahoraga.
Then start seriously working toward Shadow Chimera Garden once your Garden Hearts and Domain Fragments are coming together.
Meanwhile, keep running Megumi Raid and opening Chimera Crates. Your Elephant Tusks and Purified Tusks will gradually build toward the remaining Max Elephant upgrades.
The important thing is not to farm every requirement separately.
Run Megumi Raid for your Chimera Crates, use the Shadow Altar to farm Silicores while also targeting Shiro and Kuro for fur, and use alternative sources for Domain Fragments rather than gambling on that 0.1% crate drop.
Do that, and you’re progressing toward Elephant, Totality, Mahoraga, Shadow Chimera Garden and even the Divine Will accessory at the same time.
The full Ten Shadows Part 2 grind is still substantial—especially if RNG refuses to hand over those Garden Hearts—but approaching the materials this way should save you a lot of wasted farming.
