The Lab map in Project: Escape Room is a science-themed puzzle level filled with chemistry clues, environmental puzzles, and hidden mechanisms. Most of the puzzles rely on reading posters carefully and connecting clues across the room.
Below is the full step-by-step walkthrough to escape the Lab.
Green Panel Code Puzzle
At the start of the map, look through the window. You will see markings related to the green color group.
Now check the glass panel nearby to find the values assigned to each letter.
Values shown:

Enter 3952 into the keypad to open the next room.
Computer Password Puzzle
Inside the next area, look at the poster showing Dr. James Halt.
Now check the cabinet that contains the computer login information.
Password shown:
63F8C74
Enter this password on the computer system.
The door will unlock and you can continue into the next room.
Chemistry Color Puzzle
This is one of the more complex puzzles in the Lab.
You must determine the correct color for each element using chemistry clues.
Atomic Number 82
The cabinet shows atomic number 82.
Element 82 corresponds to lead, which is associated with the green slot.
Mark green for that position.
Rubidium (Rb)
One clue shows the element Rb.
Rubidium has an atomic number of 37, which corresponds to the red slot.
Mark red.
Balloon Clue
A floating balloon indicates helium gas.
Helium corresponds to the pink color slot.
Mark pink.
Gold Symbol
Another clue references gold (Au).
Gold’s atomic number is 79, associated with the yellow slot.
Mark yellow.
Water Formula
The last clue shows H₂O.
The missing element is oxygen, which corresponds to the blue slot.
Mark blue.
Once all colors are correct, a cabinet opens.
Inside you will find a button.
Use this button to unlock the next door.
Sprinkler Flower Puzzle
Press the button under the table.
This activates sprinklers and flowers will appear.
Observe the flower colors.

Now match these colors on the control panel.
Correct alignment unlocks the next door.
Key Collection
Inside the next room, pick up the key.
Use the key to unlock the following door and proceed deeper into the lab.
Environment Settings Puzzle
You will find a system requiring specific environmental values.
You must adjust four parameters:
- Water level
- Food level
- Oxygen level
- Temperature
Water Level
Count the water indicators.

Food Level
Count the food indicators.
Correct value:

Oxygen Level
Check the poster on the wall.
It states the oxygen level is:

Temperature
The same poster shows the temperature setting.
Correct value:

Setting these values correctly opens another cabinet.
Inside is a screwdriver.
Vent Escape
Use the screwdriver to open the vent panels.
Crawl through the vents to reach the exit area.
After passing through the vents, the escape sequence triggers and the Lab map is completed.
