Roblox Kaizen Mei Mei and Black Bird Manipulation Guide

If you want to become Mei Mei in Roblox Kaizen and unlock her Black Bird Manipulation technique, you’ll need to complete a few things first. In this guide, I’ll walk you through how I got the technique, unlocked all of its moves, and obtained the Night Feather clothing from the Mei Mei raid.

The process is pretty straightforward, but you’ll need to build up enough mastery for Black Bird Manipulation before taking on the raid. You’ll also want to put together a character that looks as close to Mei Mei as possible if you’re going for the full experience.

I’ll go through everything step by step, from getting the required mastery to completing the raid and unlocking the clothing drops. I’ll also show you how the harder Nightmare difficulty compares once you have the technique fully unlocked.

The first thing I did was make my character look as close to Mei Mei as possible. I couldn’t find the exact same hairstyle she has in the game, but I found something close enough to get the overall look.

Since Mei Mei doesn’t have a clan requirement in the game, there’s nothing complicated you need to do before getting started. Once my character was ready, I went straight inside and focused on unlocking Black Bird Manipulation.

If you’re trying to make your character look exactly like her, you may need to experiment with different hair and clothing options. I went with the closest combination I could find.

The next step is getting enough mastery for Black Bird Manipulation. You need 65 mastery to unlock the final move, so I headed over to Shibuya to farm some enemies.

This is probably one of the easiest ways to build up the mastery you need. I teleported to the area, found some enemies, and started taking them down with the technique.

The first move you get is Carrying Drive. It deals a decent amount of damage, and I was already taking roughly half of an enemy’s HP with it.

What surprised me was how much damage Black Bird Manipulation can deal despite being a Grade 1 technique. It feels pretty strong while you’re leveling it up.

After getting some more mastery, I unlocked the second move. I reached 48 mastery, which allowed me to continue progressing through the technique.

The next move is Feather Coffin. This one looks really cool in combat and makes clearing enemies much easier.

After using it a few times and defeating more enemies, I reached 56 mastery.

I continued farming the enemies around Shibuya and used the moves I had already unlocked to speed things up.

After a few more kills, I reached the required mastery for Bird Strike. The combination of Carrying Drive, Feather Coffin, and Bird Strike makes farming much faster than relying on basic attacks.

I only needed a few more kills after that to reach the final requirement.

Once I reached 67 mastery, I unlocked the final move, Bird Transformation.

The range on this move is especially useful. Once you have all four moves unlocked, Black Bird Manipulation feels much more complete, and you’re ready to take on the Mei Mei raid.

So, at this point, I had everything I needed from the technique and could finally move on to the raid.

With Black Bird Manipulation fully unlocked, I headed over to the Mei Mei raid. The goal here was to defeat Mei Mei and hopefully get some of her clothing as drops.

I started with Hard difficulty because I wanted to see how easily I could clear it before jumping straight into the higher difficulties.

Once the raid started, the first thing I did was clear out the curses in the area. Black Bird Manipulation makes this pretty simple because you can group enemies together and hit several of them with your attacks.

I used Carrying Drive to deal damage and then followed up with Bird Transformation to clear the enemies faster.

After defeating the first group, I continued deeper into the area by following the cursed energy.

Eventually, I reached the section where you have to fight Mei Mei’s brother. He wasn’t particularly difficult, especially with the damage Black Bird Manipulation was doing.

After defeating him, I was able to move through the gate and continue toward Mei Mei.

Once I reached Mei Mei, the actual boss fight began.

I started using the Black Bird Manipulation moves against her and tried to keep my distance whenever necessary. Carrying Drive was useful for getting damage in, while the other moves helped keep the pressure on.

After a few attacks, Mei Mei’s health dropped quickly. I managed to defeat her without too much trouble.

The best part was that I got the clothing drops on my first try.

After defeating Mei Mei, I received several pieces of the Night Feather set.

The drops I got were:

• Night Feather Chest Plate

• Night Feather Leggings

• Night Feather Scarf

I equipped the chest plate and leggings afterward to see how they looked.

They aren’t exactly the same as Mei Mei’s own clothing, but they’re clearly connected to the Night Feather set and work well if you’re trying to create a Mei Mei-inspired character.

If you’re trying to collect all of the available drops, you’ll probably need to run the raid multiple times depending on your luck.

After clearing Hard difficulty and getting the clothing drops, I decided to see how far I could push the raid.

Instead of stopping at Extreme, I went straight for Nightmare difficulty.

Nightmare is a noticeable step up from the easier difficulties. There are three waves, and the enemies hit much harder.

The first thing I noticed was that the waves weren’t messing around. It felt like I was basically fighting several mini-bosses at once.

Even so, Black Bird Manipulation handled the enemies surprisingly well.

After getting through the earlier waves, I eventually reached the boss section again.

One of the enemies had around 9,000 HP, which honestly wasn’t too bad considering how much damage Black Bird Manipulation can deal.

Once Mei Mei appeared, I started using the same attacks I’d used during the Hard run.

I managed to land my attacks and keep the damage going until her health dropped. Bird Transformation was especially useful for finishing the fight.

In the end, Mei Mei went down without too much trouble, even on Nightmare.

In my experience, Black Bird Manipulation is definitely worth trying, especially if you like Mei Mei or want a technique with good damage and useful ranged attacks.

You only need 65 mastery to unlock the full moveset, and farming that mastery in Shibuya doesn’t take too long. Once you have all four moves, the technique becomes much more fun to use.

The Mei Mei raid is also worth running if you’re interested in collecting the Night Feather clothing pieces. I was able to get the chest plate, leggings, and scarf on my first Hard clear, although your drops may be different depending on your luck.

Overall, the process is pretty simple: get your character looking like Mei Mei, farm 65+ mastery, unlock all of the Black Bird Manipulation moves, and then head into the Mei Mei raid for the clothing drops.
