Roblox Paradox Beginner Guide – Combat, Progression, Trello

Getting into Roblox Paradox can feel confusing at first, but once you understand how progression works, the game becomes pretty straightforward. I’ll walk you through it the same way I’d explain it to a friend starting fresh.

Roblox Paradox Beginner Guide – Combat, Progression, Trello

When you join:

  • Watch the intro cutscene (it’s actually decent)
  • Choose:
    • Name
    • Gender
    • Faction: Shinigami, Hollow, or Quincy

If you’re unsure:

  • Shinigami = balanced
  • Hollow = slower early start
  • Quincy = strongest right now (more on that later)

Menu & Basics

When you open the menu, you’ll see a few important sections:

Summon

  • Reroll:
    • Clan (DNA)
    • Weapon skins
    • Abilities (Shikai / Schrift / Resurrección)
  • You get rerolls mainly from codes

Talents (Very Important)

  • These are basically perks for your build
  • You unlock them using:
    • Cash
    • Whispering Willows

To get talents:

  • Go to NPC Anori (available in all factions)
  • Pay + use Willows → choose your perks

Inventory Explained

Your inventory might look confusing at first, but here’s the easy breakdown:

  • Whispering Willows → used for talents
  • DNA items → your clan
  • Skill Cores → unlock abilities
  • Weapon skins → cosmetic (some enhanced versions = better effects)

Skills

  • Use a Skill Core
  • Pick from options
  • Equip via your backpack

Stats

Stats do NOT directly boost damage or speed.

  • Speed → unlocks skills (not movement speed)
  • Sword → unlocks skills (not M1 damage)
  • Same for other stats

So don’t expect:

  • “More sword = more damage” ❌
  • It’s more about abilities, not raw stats

How to Progress Fast

There are 5 main ways to grind:

1. Missions (Best Early Game)

  • Found via Wayfinder
  • Includes:
    • Escort
    • Payload
    • Scavenger
    • Bomb missions

Important:

  • Other players can invade your mission (PvP)
  • This makes it risky but also faster for leveling

2. E-Flame

  • Gives loot + small EXP
  • Better for farming items than leveling
  • Good with friends

3. Boss Raids

  • Access through NPC (like “Lunar”)
  • Gives:
    • Loot
    • Around 5 EXP per run

Good mid-game option.

4. Story Missions (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • Required for progression
  • Unlock things like:
    • Bankai
    • Vollständig

Even if EXP is low, you MUST do them

5. World Events (Time Gates)

  • Random events that appear
  • Like:
    • Portals
    • Arena-style fights

Good for:

  • EXP
  • Loot

Important NPCs

In Karakura Town especially:

  • Anori → Talents
  • Mission NPCs → Grinding
  • Lunar → Boss raids
  • Kisuke-type NPC → Limit break progression
  • Guild Manager / Trade / Bank / Barber

You don’t need to memorize all—just use Wayfinder.

Combat

Combat is:

  • Parry-based
  • Slower than most Roblox anime games

Key thing:

  • Skills have long wind-ups
  • You can’t spam combos easily

It’s more about:

  • Timing
  • Positioning

Endgame

Once you progress enough:

Go to Rishi Zones

This is basically:

  • Endgame farming area
  • New bosses
  • Special upgrades

You can:

  • Improve Shikai/Bankai
  • Get rare loot
  • Do advanced quests

Best Race

Right now:

Quincy is the strongest

Why:

  • Strong abilities
  • Best Kido (damage skills)
  • Has some broken combos

Other notes:

  • Arrancar currently feels weaker (less skills early)
  • Shinigami is balanced but not top-tier
