Sailor Piece Swords & Melees Tier List (Sea 2 Update)

If you’ve been grinding Sailor Piece lately, you already know this update changed things more than expected. Some weapons that looked insane on paper ended up mid, and a few that people underestimated are actually carrying runs.

So instead of just throwing a tier list at you, I’m going to walk you through it like I’d explain it to a friend — what’s actually worth your time, what’s overrated, and what you should grind for depending on how you play.

Because let’s be real… not everyone has time to farm everything.

Sailor Piece Swords & Melees Tier List (Sea 2 Update)

Let’s keep it simple first:

  • S Tier → Dragon Goddess
  • A Tier → Cosmic Being
  • B Tier → The World
  • D Tier → Great Mage

Now let’s actually talk about why these placements make sense — because stats alone don’t tell the full story.

Dragon Goddess (S Tier)

I’m not even going to try to be balanced here — this thing is just insane.

You hit once and immediately feel the difference.

  • M1 damage is around 2.5M
  • Massive AoE on abilities
  • Combo damage can reach 100M+ easily

The Z move hits hard, but the real damage comes when you chain everything together. It just melts bosses and mobs like they’re nothing.

How You Get It

  • Found in Open Sea
  • Drops from Sea Beast
  • Around 0.8% drop chance

So yeah… it’s rare. And honestly, it should be.

You’ll probably spend more time finding the Sea Beast than actually fighting it. But if you get this weapon, you’re basically set for most content.

Cosmic Being (A Tier)

This one is interesting. It feels strong… but something about it keeps it from reaching S tier.

What Makes It Good

  • Z move has low cooldown (2 seconds)
  • Solid AoE → great for farming
  • Good overall combo potential

You can comfortably use this for:

  • Dungeons
  • AFK farming
  • Boss rush (to some extent)

But the issue?

It doesn’t hit that “wow” level like Dragon Goddess.

How You Get It

  • Located at Punk Island
  • Kill Cosmic Being Boss
  • Spawns every 30 minutes
  • Requires materials like Cosmic Essence + title

This is more of a grind weapon than a luck weapon.

If you don’t have Dragon Goddess, this is probably your best fallback.

The World (B Tier)

I know some people are going to disagree here… but this one just doesn’t keep up.

It’s not bad — just overshadowed.

What Works

  • V and F moves are actually strong
  • Decent burst potential

What Doesn’t

  • Z and C moves feel weak
  • Overall damage isn’t consistent
  • Gets outclassed by Cosmic Being easily

You can use it… but there’s really no reason to once you have better options.

It’s one of those specs that feels good early, then slowly falls off.

Great Mage (D Tier)

I’ll keep this one short.

It’s just not worth it.

Problems

  • Low damage compared to everything else
  • Mediocre skills
  • No real advantage in any mode

How You Get It

  • Easy to obtain (First Sea / Easter Island)

And honestly, that explains everything.

If something is easy to get in a grind-heavy game like this… there’s usually a reason.

You’re better off skipping it completely and aiming higher.

Let’s say you’re not maxed or don’t have everything yet.

Here’s the realistic path:

  • Early Game → Skip Great Mage
  • Mid Game → Go for Cosmic Being
  • Late Game → Grind Dragon Goddess

Don’t try to jump straight to Dragon Goddess unless you’re ready for a long grind.

AFK Farming vs Active Play

Not all weapons perform the same depending on how you play.

If You AFK a Lot

  • Cosmic Being is actually really good
  • Low cooldown + AoE = consistent farming

If You Play Actively

  • Dragon Goddess dominates
  • Best burst + combo damage

So your “best weapon” can depend on your playstyle.

This update didn’t just add new weapons — it created a pretty clear gap between “good” and “worth grinding.”

  • Dragon Goddess → endgame goal
  • Cosmic Being → reliable grinder
  • The World → optional
  • Great Mage → forget it exists

If I had to say one thing:

Don’t chase everything. Chase the right thing.
