Looking for Sky Reach in The Veil? Finding this location can be confusing when you first start searching because you cannot simply walk there through the normal areas of the map. The journey begins inside the Maze, and you will need to find a special location before you can reach the island.

In this post, we will show you how to find Sky Reach, where the Shimmering Sanctum is involved, and what you need to do to reach the area also known as Sky Island. We will also explain why activating the waypoint should be one of the first things you do after arriving.

Sky Reach is an important location for players working on later progression, especially if you are interested in unlocking the Sky Sentinel class. So, if you are wondering where to go and how the teleport route works, here is everything you need to know.

Sky Reach, which is also referred to as Sky Island, is located away from the normal routes you travel through in the Maze.

You cannot reach the area by simply walking through the labyrinth. Instead, you need to use a special teleport route.

The first place we need to find is the Shimmering Sanctum.

This landmark appears somewhere inside the Maze, so you may need to spend some time exploring before you discover it. Because the Maze can be confusing, I would not recommend relying too heavily on one fixed route from your starting location.

Instead, focus on finding the Shimmering Sanctum itself.

Once you locate it, reaching Sky Island becomes much easier.

Start by entering the Maze and exploring the different areas until you find the Shimmering Sanctum.

This is the most important part of reaching Sky Reach.

Since the Sanctum can appear within the Maze, you may need to search through multiple areas before finding it. Keep an eye on the environment and look for the named landmark rather than trying to follow exact coordinates.

Once you reach the Shimmering Sanctum, look around for Sapphron, the NPC located near the teleport obelisk.

This NPC is connected to the route that takes you to Sky Island.

After finding the Shimmering Sanctum, head toward the teleport obelisk and speak with the NPC nearby.

Before you can travel to Sky Island, you need to give the NPC 1 Gem.

Make sure you bring a Gem with you before starting the journey. If you arrive at the Sanctum without one, you will need to leave and find a Gem before you can use the teleport.

Once you hand over the required Gem, the NPC can send you to the floating island.

This is the main route used to reach Sky Reach or Sky Island.

Before making the trip, make sure you have the following:

• Find the Shimmering Sanctum

• Bring 1 Gem

• Find the NPC near the teleport obelisk

• Give the NPC your Gem

• Teleport to Sky Island

Once you arrive on Sky Island, one of the first things I recommend doing is finding and activating the teleport waypoint.

The waypoint can be found inside a small cave near the central part of the island.

Activating it is extremely useful because you probably do not want to repeat the entire process of searching through the Maze and finding the Shimmering Sanctum every time you want to return.

After activating the waypoint, you can use it as a fast-travel point for future visits.

This can save you a lot of time, especially if you are working on class quests or other progression content connected to Sky Reach.

After activating the waypoint, you can begin exploring the rest of Sky Island.

For players looking to unlock the Sky Sentinel class, the trainer can be reached by following the route from the waypoint toward the left side of the area.

Sky Reach is therefore more than just a hidden location to discover.

It is connected to important progression and class-related content, making it a useful place to unlock even if you are not immediately ready to complete every quest on the island.

If your goal is Sky Sentinel, make sure you prepare the required resources before spending too much time traveling there.

Reaching Sky Island and unlocking the Sky Sentinel class are two separate parts of progression.

Getting to Sky Reach mainly requires finding the Shimmering Sanctum and giving the NPC 1 Gem.

The class itself has additional requirements.

The current Sky Sentinel progression requires:

• 30 Offerings

• Defeating 5 Angry Nimbuses

• Completing the Angry Nimbus requirement during a rain event

So, reaching the island does not automatically unlock the class.

You still need to complete its specific progression requirements afterward.

Sky Sentinel is connected to a summon-focused playstyle and has its own requirements involving Offerings and Angry Nimbus enemies.

Even if you are not ready to unlock the class yet, reaching Sky Island is still worth doing.
