What to Do Before the Bleach Update in Legacy Piece

In this post, I will go over the things you should do before the upcoming Bleach update in Legacy Piece. The update is expected to bring some major new content, including Ichigo and Yhwach-related content, so this is a good time to get your build and important items ready.

There is also some possible information about what might be required for the new Ichigo spec. Nothing should be treated as completely confirmed until the update arrives, but the available information makes it worth preparing certain items in advance.

The biggest thing I would personally recommend working on first is Zangetsu and its Bankai form. If the new Ichigo spec does require the existing Ichigo weapon and its upgraded version, having everything ready beforehand could save you a lot of time after the update releases.

Besides that, there are several other things you can prepare, including your traits, clan, supports, weapons, Prestige, skill tree, Fish, Gems, and crates. Let’s go through everything you should focus on before the Bleach update arrives.

The first thing I would recommend getting is Zangetsu.

According to the possible information about the upcoming Ichigo content, the new Ichigo spec may require you to own Zangetsu. This is why I would start here before worrying about the rest of your preparation.

Zangetsu is one of the weapons that has been available since release, and you can get it on Hollow Island.

The base moveset is decent, although there is something much more important you can do with the weapon.

You can awaken Zangetsu into its Bankai form.

To unlock the Bankai version, you need to work through the quests given by the required NPC.

One of the important objectives involves defeating the Ichigo Bankai boss.

You will also need to have your weapon properly prepared with max Enchants and a Special Passive.

Once you complete the requirements, the Bankai mode replaces your normal weapon and changes your entire moveset.

The transformation is not just a visual upgrade either. It also comes with a very interesting passive that makes the weapon much more unique.

The Bankai form lasts for 3 minutes while active.

During that time, every attack has a chance to send an Echo forward. The Echo Flash Steps toward the enemy and slices them.

The longer you continue fighting the same enemy, the higher the chance of triggering these Echoes becomes.

The really interesting part happens when you manage to get four Echoes on the same enemy.

When that happens, Black Moon occurs, allowing you to perform a Black Getsuga attack that deals 500% damage.

The moveset is clean, and the passive is very unique.

The main reason I would tell players to get this before the Bleach update is because the new Ichigo spec might require owning Zangetsu with Bankai. We do not have the same kind of information directly connected to Yhwach, so that content may require something completely different.

Once you have your Zangetsu preparation handled, I would start looking at your overall build.

Try to get a good Secret Trait if possible.

Ancient Fisherman is one option worth aiming for based on the build recommendations here.

Your Trait can make a big difference in your overall performance, so this is a good time to improve your build instead of waiting until the update arrives.

If new difficult bosses or progression requirements are added, having a stronger build ready from the start will make the new content easier to handle.

For Clan, Berserker is being used in this particular build.

The setup is focused around an Ability build, with the main Ability switching between Aria and Rian.

Your support choices can remain relatively similar depending on what you have available.

Aria and Solemn Lament are both recommended options to work toward.

World Over Heaven is also one of the strongest Supports you can get.

The Over Heaven Passive can make a huge difference to your build, which is why getting a powerful Support setup before the update can be a good investment.

Your weapon setup should mostly depend on what your current stats are lacking.

For example, if you need more Crit Chance, you can go for Chihora and use Entin.

On the other hand, if your Crit Chance is already in a good position, you may want to choose something like Shadow and use Restoration for an additional damage buff.

The important thing is not simply copying one weapon setup.

Look at your current Crit Chance, damage, and other important stats, then choose your weapon and Enchants based on what your build actually needs.

You should definitely try to max out your Prestige or at least get it as high as possible before the Bleach update.

New content could potentially have a Prestige requirement before you can even start progressing through it.

If that happens, players with higher Prestige will be able to jump into the new content much faster.

This is why I would not wait until the update releases to start working on it.

Try to get as much Prestige as you can now so you are properly prepared.

You should also work on maximizing your important damage and Crit-related bonuses.

Things such as Index and Fire Force Rank should be maxed if possible because they can provide additional damage buffs.

Every extra bit of damage can help when new bosses and stronger enemies arrive.

You should also take a look at your Skill Tree.

At the very least, I would recommend maxing the important Damage and Elemental upgrades.

Having these upgrades ready means you will not have to spend time fixing your basic progression when the new content arrives.

Fish are another important part of preparing your build.

One question that comes up often is whether you can equip three of the same Fish.

Yes, you can equip three identical Fish, but their Passives do not stack.

Because of that, using three copies of the same Fish is generally not useful if you are trying to maximize your build.

Instead, you should use three different Fish so that all three Passives can work.

Getting the Fish is only the first step.

The next step is actually making sure they are useful for your specific build.

You can roll Fish stats, so do not just stop after getting the Fish you want.

Try to roll stats that improve Crit Chance and damage based on your particular build.

If your build is struggling with Crit Chance, focus on fixing that weakness.

You can also visit the Enchant NPC and reset or adjust the Enchants on your main spec and accessories.

Try to get a decent amount of Crit Chance with Precision.

This is one of the ways players manage to build up a strong Crit Chance percentage.

The goal is to maximize your stats now so you are not starting the Bleach update with an unfinished build.

For the Sovereign of Fates NPC, the main thing I would focus on is getting good Gems.

Try to obtain Mythical or Secret Gems if possible.

Secret Gems are much rarer, so they can take significantly more effort to get.

Still, improving your Gems before the update is another way to make your character stronger and more prepared for whatever new content gets added.

One of the easiest things you can do before the update is simply save your crates.

Try to hold onto your Aura Crates, Cosmetic Crates, and Fish Crates.

The new update could potentially add more content connected to these systems.

Because of that, saving your resources instead of immediately using everything can be a good idea.

You never know when new items or rewards might be added, so having crates available gives you more flexibility when the update arrives.

One more important thing to remember is Aaron.

Aaron is expected to leave in the coming update.

So, if you want to get her, I would definitely recommend starting the Tower grind right now.

Do not wait until after the update if Aaron is something you still need.

The weapon itself is also pretty cool, and with Aaron potentially leaving, now is the time to finish that grind before the opportunity is gone.

There is also the possibility that her removal could mean we eventually get a new Tower spec or something else connected to the Tower system.

Nothing is guaranteed there, but it is something worth keeping in mind.

Before the Legacy Piece Bleach update arrives, these are the main things I would recommend preparing:

• Get Zangetsu from Hollow Island.

• Work toward unlocking Zangetsu Bankai.

• Complete the required Bankai quests and defeat the Ichigo Bankai boss.

• Get Max Enchants and a Special Passive for your weapon.

• Try to get a strong Secret Trait.

• Improve your Clan and Ability build.

• Get strong Supports such as Aria, Solemn Lament, or World Over Heaven.

• Choose your weapon setup based on your Crit Chance and damage needs.

• Max out your Prestige or get it as high as possible.

• Max important damage bonuses such as Index and Fire Force Rank.

• Upgrade your Damage and Elemental Skill Tree paths.

• Use three different Fish so their Passives all work.

• Roll useful Crit and damage stats on your Fish.

• Improve your Crit Chance with the right Enchants.

• Try to get Mythical or Secret Gems.

• Save your Aura, Cosmetic, and Fish Crates.

• Start the Tower grind if you still want to get Aaron.

The Bleach update is getting close, and now is probably the best time to prepare instead of waiting until everything releases.

For me, the biggest priority would be getting Zangetsu and working toward the Bankai version because there is a possibility that the new Ichigo spec could require it.

After that, focus on making your overall build stronger. Improve your Trait, Clan, Supports, weapons, Prestige, Skill Tree, Fish, and Gems.

Also, do not forget about Aaron if you still want her, because she is expected to leave with the coming update.

If you get all of these things prepared beforehand, you should be in a much better position to jump straight into the new Bleach content when it arrives.
