Anime Capture is a new Roblox simulator from the creators of Anime Astro, and it follows a familiar progression system with anime-inspired worlds, collectible characters, crafting, gachas, raids, accessories, swords, auras, and trials.
If you’re just starting out, there are quite a few systems to understand. Here’s a breakdown of the progression path and the most useful things to focus on early.
Anime Capture Beginner Guide – Trello, Wiki & Best Races
After entering the first area, you’ll quickly unlock Auto Catch and Auto Sell. Auto Catch lets you automatically collect enemies after defeating them, while Auto Sell converts unwanted characters into resources.
If Auto Catch isn’t working, make sure you have enough Gems to activate it. Early on, it’s useful to let Auto Sell run while you’re building up your resources.
Complete the Questline to Unlock New Maps
Your main progression comes from completing the quests in each world. These quests eventually give you the key needed to unlock the next area.
The early progression includes:
- Lobby
- Peach Village
- Blue Island
- Leaf Village
- Demon Island
The lobby acts as the central hub, while the other areas contain enemies, gachas, crafting stations, quests, and other progression systems.
Don’t rush past the quests. Completing them is one of the easiest ways to unlock new content when you’re starting out.
Build Your First Avatar
Avatars are an important part of your damage progression. You’ll need multiple copies of a character to craft an avatar.
Once you’ve collected enough copies, head to the crafting system and combine them into an Avatar. You can then equip the Avatar to receive its multiplier.
For example, the guide’s Trunks Avatar had a 20.5x multiplier, making it a significant upgrade over the starting setup.
Whenever you obtain a character with a better multiplier, consider replacing your current Avatar.
Collect and Upgrade Your Heroes
Characters aren’t only useful for crafting Avatars. Your team also contributes to your overall progression.
Keep collecting characters while farming each world and replace weaker units with stronger ones. You can also use the Index to track characters you’ve collected.
One particularly useful feature is the five-avatar bonus. Collecting five copies of certain Avatars can provide additional damage, so completing your collection can become worthwhile later in the game.
Don’t Ignore Swords and Accessories
Swords and accessories provide additional multipliers and can make a huge difference as you reach harder worlds.
The game includes several ways to obtain better equipment, including:
- Raids
- Secret bosses
- Trials
- Time Trials
- Chests
- Other progression rewards
Use Auto Equip Best whenever possible so your strongest equipment is automatically equipped.
Farm Secret Bosses
Secret bosses are worth hunting down because they can drop powerful equipment.
One secret boss can be found near a rock in an earlier area and can drop the Adro Cape. Secret bosses can also drop different rarities of equipment, meaning you may want to farm them multiple times for better versions.
Later worlds contain much stronger secret bosses. For example, one Dragon Ball-themed secret boss has around 135 quadrillion HP, so don’t worry if you can’t defeat it immediately.
As your power increases, revisit earlier secret bosses and try to obtain higher-rarity equipment.
Complete Trials for Extra Resources
Trials are another important progression system.
The Easy Trial provides different types of tokens and other useful rewards. These resources can then be used to upgrade your character and other systems.
Trials are especially important if you’re trying to improve your attack distance and other stats.
The upgrade system includes stats such as:
- Attack Distance
- Attack Speed
- Drop
- Gems
- Damage
- Power
Early on, prioritize Attack Distance enough to hit the enemies you need, then invest heavily into Power and Damage.
Upgrade Your Aura
Defeating enemies can unlock different World Auras. Once you obtain one, equip it from the Aura menu.
Auras provide additional buffs, and you can also equip their visual effects separately if you want your character to display the aura.
As you progress through the worlds, keep checking for stronger versions.
Use Raids for Better Gear
Raids are another source of equipment and special tokens.
Some raid keys can drop randomly while defeating enemies, and harder enemies can provide better chances of obtaining them.
The Dragon Ball-themed raid, for example, can reward items such as:
- Sapphire Tokens
- Dragon Tokens
- Saiyan Armor
- Gogeta-related rewards
Don’t worry about clearing the hardest raids immediately. Focus on farming the strongest raid you can consistently complete.
Take Advantage of Gacha Pity
Each world has its own Gacha system, and rarities progress through tiers such as Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Secret, and Divine.
If your early pulls are weak, don’t waste all your resources randomly. Work toward the pity systems and return to previous worlds when necessary.
Getting Mythic or Secret units can dramatically improve your progression.
Complete the Index
The Index isn’t just a collection menu. Completing characters and Avatars can provide additional bonuses.
It’s worth returning to previous worlds to fill out missing entries once you’re strong enough to farm them efficiently.
This is especially useful later when you’re trying to squeeze out additional damage instead of simply unlocking the next world.
Use Auto Features for AFK Farming
Anime Capture has several automation options that make AFK progression much easier.
Useful settings include:
- Auto Catch
- Auto Sell
- Auto Collect
- Auto Open Chest
- Auto Equip Best Aura
- Auto Equip Best Sword
- Auto Equip Best Accessories
- Auto Gacha
- Auto Raids
- Auto Join
- Auto Leave
Once you’ve reached a point where your character can comfortably farm an area, enable the appropriate automation and let the game build your resources while you’re away.
New Update Features
The game also received an update adding several useful systems and rewards, including:
- New boss tickets
- Auto Gacha
- Auto Raids
- New token purchases
- Additional progression
- Sword skins
- New gachas
- New achievements
- New island content
- Wave-based achievements
- New rewards
- Additional update content
The Auto Raid feature is particularly useful because it removes some of the repetitive work involved in farming raids.
Codes
The game also has a code menu that can be accessed by scrolling down through the appropriate menu.
The update introduced codes tied to milestones such as:
- 400K+ Visits
Redeem every available code as soon as possible because milestone codes can expire after the game progresses.
