Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Guide – 100% Completion

If you want to fully complete Clean All the Leaves, simply clearing the obvious piles isn’t enough. You have to work through all the different areas, deal with multiple waves, and sometimes search around for leaves that get stuck in awkward places.

The game currently has three maps to clean: House, Mansion, and Gas Station. Each map has its own areas and progression requirements, but the House is the important one if you’re trying to unlock the Secret Ending and its badge.

In this guide, I’ll show you how to reach 100% completion, which upgrades are worth buying, where you should look when an area gets stuck at 99%, and what you need to do to trigger the Secret Ending.

Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Requirements

The Secret Ending is connected to the House map. You need to reach 100% completion in every House area, including the Basement, before the hidden route becomes available.

There are 11 areas you need to completely clear:

  • Frontyard
  • Shed
  • Porch
  • Court
  • Garage
  • Rooftop
  • Backyard
  • Pool
  • Maze
  • Farm
  • Basement

You need every one of these areas at 100%. If even a single area is sitting at 99%, the secret route will not open.

For your upgrades, I recommend putting your early money into Hold, Dexterity, and Grasp rather than spending too much on the Rake. You will eventually want the Leaf Blower, which makes clearing larger areas much easier.

Once you have the Leaf Blower, unlock the Vents around the map. You can push leaves toward these Vents instead of carrying everything to the trash.

The Basement is particularly important. After completing the Farm, you can access it, but make sure you buy the Molotov from the Backyard before going inside.

The Basement doesn’t have a Leaf Trash Can or Vent, so carrying every leaf out individually is extremely slow. Instead, gather a large pile in one location and use the Molotov to burn the leaves.

After completing both Basement waves and reaching 100%, a sliding gate opens. Follow the path behind the gate to trigger the Secret Ending and receive the Secret Ending Badge.

Clean All the Leaves Secret Ending Explained

Warning: spoilers ahead.

Once you finish the Basement and enter the newly opened path, your character eventually falls into another basement.

A cutscene then begins. Inside the room, you will find two people sitting in chairs and looking at a large collection of monitors.

The monitors are showing the different areas of the House that you have been cleaning throughout the game. This makes it clear that someone has been watching your entire cleaning session.

As you move closer, the two people are revealed to be the same friends who originally asked you to clean all the leaves.

The ending doesn’t fully explain why they were watching you or what their actual plan was. Instead, it leaves the situation open and creates one of the biggest mysteries in Clean All the Leaves.

Clean All the Leaves House 100% Walkthrough

The House is the map you need to pay the most attention to if you’re going for the Secret Ending. Several areas become available as you complete the earlier ones, so it’s best to work through them in order.

Frontyard, Shed, Porch, Garage, and Court

When you first enter the House map, you can access the Frontyard, Shed, Porch, and Court.

I recommend starting with the smaller areas because they’re easier to clear manually and can help you earn enough money for your first upgrades.

Focus your early upgrades on:

  • Hold
  • Dexterity
  • Grasp

Try not to spend too much money on the Rake. Save your money for the Leaf Blower, which becomes much more useful as the areas get larger.

The Garage has an extra unlock requirement. Enter the Shed and find the red button next to the Leaf Capacity upgrade. Pressing this button opens the Garage.

Once you have the Leaf Blower, unlock the Vents near the Shed and Court. Their locations make them particularly convenient for clearing these areas.

If one of these areas won’t reach 100%, check places such as:

  • Corners
  • Under the Shed door
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Porch stairs
  • Under Court benches
  • Behind the basketball pole

Rooftop

The Rooftop becomes available after you complete the Frontyard, Garage, Porch, Shed, and Court.

Use your Leaf Blower to move the leaves across the roof and toward the Vent near the door. You may need to clear more than one wave before the area is finished.

The ladder is one of the most annoying spots here. Leaves can become stuck around it, and the Leaf Blower doesn’t always move them properly.

If you’re stuck at 99%, walk around the ladder and look carefully for leaves. Picking up the remaining ones manually is often easier than trying to blow them loose.

Backyard, Pool, and Maze

After completing the Rooftop, you’ll gain access to the Backyard, Pool, and Maze.

The Leaf Blower and Vents should handle most of the work here. In the Pool area, activate the Vent and push the leaves toward it rather than carrying them to the Trash Can individually.

If you already bought the Molotov, you can also gather a large pile of leaves and burn them together. For the Pool, you can push leaves into the pool before using the Molotov to clear a large amount at once.

The Maze is simpler. Activate its Vent and use the Leaf Blower to push the leaves toward it.

Check these locations if you’re missing a few percent:

  • Backyard corners
  • Under benches
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Pool ladder
  • Maze corners

Farm

The Farm has a Vent near the swing, making it fairly easy to clear once you have a decent Leaf Blower.

When you enter the Farm, close the doors so leaves don’t accidentally move into another area. Then use the Leaf Blower to push the leaves toward the Vent.

If you’re stuck below 100%, inspect the objects around the area. Leaves can hide in some awkward spots, including:

  • Under the swing
  • Inside the bucket
  • Around the pumpkins
  • Farm corners

Once the Farm reaches 100%, the Basement becomes available.

Basement

The Basement is the final House area and is one of the easiest places to get stuck at 99%.

There isn’t a Leaf Trash Can or Vent inside the Basement, so you don’t want to spend your time carrying individual leaves outside.

Instead, use your Leaf Blower to gather as many leaves as possible into one large pile. Then equip the Molotov and burn the pile.

There are two Basement waves, but clearing the waves doesn’t necessarily mean you’re finished. Additional leaves can appear after the waves, so keep checking the area even when it looks clean.

Look carefully around:

  • Basement stairs
  • Bookshelves
  • Corners
  • Dark areas along the walls

Once the Basement reaches 100%, the secret sliding gate opens.

Go through the gate and follow the path to trigger the Secret Ending.

What to Do If You’re Stuck at 99%

Getting stuck at 99% usually means there is still at least one leaf somewhere in the area.

The problem is that leaves can end up behind objects, under furniture, or even get pushed through an open doorway into another section.

Start by checking the progress of every House area. If one zone is below 100%, you still have something to find there.

The Basement and Backyard/Pool can be particularly annoying when you’re trying to find that last leaf.

For the Basement, check:

  • Bookshelves
  • Basement stairs
  • Corners
  • Along the walls

For the Backyard and Pool, check:

  • Under the benches
  • Every corner
  • Behind the Leaf Trash Can
  • Around the Pool ladder
  • Areas connected by open doors

Also make sure you haven’t accidentally blown leaves into an adjoining area. If a door is open, a leaf can sometimes travel into another section and leave the original area below 100%.

Mansion 100% Walkthrough

The Mansion is much larger than the House and contains several areas that unlock as you progress.

You don’t need to follow the Secret Ending route here. Your goal is simply to clear every area and eventually complete the Maze.

Front Yard, Porch, Right Alley [A], and Left Alley [A]

The Front Yard, Porch, Right Alley [A], and Left Alley [A] are available when you first enter the Mansion.

Start by improving your Hand and then purchase the Leaf Blower. Put upgrades into its:

  • Width
  • Power
  • Spread

You can skip the Rake again.

You should also start saving for the Leaf Mower, which becomes particularly useful as you reach the larger Mansion areas.

Increase your Leaf Capacity whenever possible. You may not be able to max it immediately, but every upgrade helps reduce the number of trips you need to make.

When clearing these starting areas, check around:

  • Front Yard corners
  • Behind Leaf Trash Cans
  • Car wheels
  • Porch stairs
  • Porch corners
  • Alley corners
  • Behind Trash Cans

Once all four areas reach 100%, you’ll unlock the Tennis Court and Pool.

Tennis Court and Basketball Court

The Tennis Court has two sides, with a Vent available on each side.

Use the Leaf Blower to push leaves toward the Vents. This is generally faster than collecting everything manually.

The Leaf Mower also works, but you’ll need to make more trips to the Trash Cans, so the Blower is more convenient here.

After the Tennis Court reaches 100%, the Basketball Court becomes available.

The Basketball Court is smaller and can be cleared with either the Leaf Blower or Leaf Mower.

Before leaving, check the corners and areas around the net and basketball equipment.

Pool and Relaxation Court

The Pool is a good area for using the Leaf Mower. It may take a little longer, but the Trash Cans give you money for the leaves you collect, helping you afford additional upgrades.

After reaching 100% in the Pool, the Relaxation Court opens.

The Relaxation Court works particularly well with the Leaf Blower because it has several Vents. Push the leaves toward them instead of repeatedly carrying leaves to the Trash Cans.

If you’re stuck at 99%, search around:

  • Couch
  • Fireplace
  • Corners
  • Furniture

Completing the Relaxation Court unlocks the next sections of the Mansion.

Backyard, Right Alley [B], Left Alley [B], and Statues

At this point, the Leaf Mower should become your main tool.

The Mansion Backyard and its connected sections have multiple Trash Cans, and your Leaf Capacity should also be much higher by now.

Use the mower to clear:

  • Backyard
  • Right Alley [B]
  • Left Alley [B]
  • Statues

Pay close attention to:

  • Green belts
  • Stairs
  • Corners
  • Furniture
  • Benches
  • Statue areas

You can also use the Molotov if you prefer. Gather a large pile of leaves and burn them instead of making repeated trips to the Trash Cans.

Maze

The Maze becomes available after completing the Backyard, Right Alley [B], and Left Alley [B].

Unlike the other areas, you don’t have to clean leaves here.

Your goal is simply to find your way through the Maze and reach the other side.

Pay attention to your route because getting lost can force you to restart. Once you reach the end, you’ve completed the Mansion progression.

Gas Station 100% Walkthrough

The Gas Station starts with four accessible areas and eventually expands into the interior, Staff Room, Restroom, Storage Room, Back Lot, and Roof.

For this map, I’d focus your money on the Leaf Mower and Leaf Capacity. You don’t need to invest heavily in Leaf Blower upgrades.

Street, Bus Stop, Billboard, and Gas Station Entrance

Start with the Bus Stop and Billboard because they’re small and can quickly give you enough money for your early upgrades.

Max out your Hand first, then work on the Street.

Once you purchase the Leaf Blower, unlock the Vents around the Gas Station Entrance. Use the Blower to clear the central areas and Gas Station Entrance.

Don’t spend too much money upgrading the Leaf Blower here. Save for the Leaf Mower and additional Leaf Capacity instead.

Some leaves on the Street can be particularly annoying, especially around cars or areas outside the normal play space. If the Blower can’t move one, pick it up manually.

Check:

  • Near cars
  • Around the Bus Stop bench
  • Under the Bus Stop bench
  • Billboard
  • Gas Station corners
  • Fuel pumps
  • Behind Trash Cans
  • Behind the 2x Leaves Buy board

Inside Gas Station, Restroom, and Staff Room

After completing the starting areas, the Inside Gas Station opens.

You can use the Leaf Blower and Vents or switch to the Leaf Mower, depending on your upgrades.

If the percentage stops at 99%, search behind the counters and around the refrigerators.

Completing the Gas Station interior unlocks the Restroom and Staff Room.

Both areas are relatively small, although you may have to deal with multiple waves. The Leaf Mower is a reliable option for clearing them quickly.

Storage Room

The Storage Room becomes available after you complete the Staff Room and Restroom.

You can use either the Leaf Blower with the Vent or the Leaf Mower.

The Storage Room has plenty of objects that can hide leaves, so don’t leave as soon as the main piles disappear.

Check:

  • Corners
  • Around tools
  • Under shelves
  • Under the kitchen sink
  • Behind objects

If your progress is stuck at 99%, search these areas carefully before moving on.

Back Lot and Roof

After completing the Storage Room, you’ll gain access to the Back Lot and Roof.

For the Back Lot, the Leaf Mower is the better option. There are cars, rocks, and Trash Cans around the area, and the Leaf Blower can sometimes push leaves underneath objects.

Make sure you have plenty of Leaf Capacity before starting.

For the Roof, switch back to the Leaf Blower. Find the Vent in the middle of the Roof and push the leaves toward it.

The Roof can contain multiple waves, and some leaves may appear after you think you’ve finished. Keep checking until the progress reaches 100%.

Look around:

  • Roof corners
  • Under chairs
  • Around the Vent
  • Areas where leaves can fall off the roof

After the Roof reaches 100%, a UFO appears above the Gas Station. It beams your character upward before flying away.

The game doesn’t fully explain what the UFO means, so it remains another mystery that could potentially become important in a future update.

Best Upgrades for 100% Completion

Your upgrade priorities can make the cleanup process much faster.

For the House, focus on:

  • Hold
  • Dexterity
  • Grasp
  • Leaf Blower
  • Vents
  • Molotov

I would avoid spending too much money on the Rake.

For the Mansion, focus on:

  • Hand
  • Leaf Blower Width
  • Leaf Blower Power
  • Leaf Blower Spread
  • Leaf Mower
  • Leaf Capacity

For the Gas Station, prioritize:

  • Hand upgrades
  • Leaf Blower for the early areas
  • Leaf Mower
  • Leaf Capacity
  • Vents where useful

Again, there’s little reason to pour too much money into Leaf Blower upgrades on the Gas Station.

How to Get 100% Completion

The most important thing to remember is that clearing the main piles doesn’t always mean an area is finished.

Leaves can hide behind furniture, under benches, around stairs, behind Trash Cans, near vehicles, and in other awkward locations. They can also be pushed through open doors into nearby areas.

If you’re trying to unlock the House Secret Ending, check the percentage of every area before moving on.

You need all 11 House areas at 100%, including the Basement. Once the Basement is finished, the sliding gate will open and give you access to the hidden path.

Follow that path to trigger the Secret Ending and unlock the Secret Ending Badge.

For the Mansion and Gas Station, continue clearing each unlocked area until you reach their final sections. The Mansion ends with the Maze, while completing the Gas Station Roof triggers the UFO scene.

With the right tools and a habit of checking the annoying corners, getting all three maps to 100% becomes much easier.
